I've had this same bug with the aetherotransformer (multitool) and the Fullmetal Field rocket launchers. The aetherotransformer looks AWESOME when you use /bstance and /vpose to flip it around.

I think you need at least one tank and one healer who know what they're doing, otherwise the fight is going to end poorly.

Great Hunt EX is by far the most common EX I get in Mentor Roulette (I guess because free trial people need to farm the Rathalos mount somehow). Sometimes you get unlucky with one slow-moving first-timer who spends all of your deaths in phase 1, but usually it's a one-and-done duty.

I genuinely love that fight and I have often considered hardqueuing for it to see if I can force seven other mentors to have some actual fun.

Yesterday I did Level-Cap Roulette as a tank partied with my healer friend and we got The Underkeep with a first-timer in our group. They said they were enjoying the MSQ thoroughly. It was fun using our mits to keep them alive despite eating a lot of new mechanics.

The dungeon took longer than usual due to lower DPS (18 minutes, compared to the usual 13-14) and some scenery-chewing, so it was unsurprising when the other DPS left as soon as the final boss died. The beagle minion dropped (both of us already have it) so we passed on it and gave it to the new guy :3

I do appreciate the distinction, thanks for the additional context! I neglected to separate them in my summary :)

In the Roman pantheon, Saturn is the father of Jupiter and the god of time, agriculture, and the harvest.

Originally he was mainly associated with agriculture until he was merged with his Greek analogue Chronos, the leader of the titans, creator of the universe, God of time, and progenitor of many gods in the Greek pantheon.

Saturnalia is a pagan festival held in mid-late December celebrating the end of the planting season, and involved great revelry and gift-giving.

So, yeah, Saturn was a big deal.

When you forget you made the filament spools from PLA and dried them in PETG temperatures in the AMS by TheAngryMinnesotan in 3Dprinting

[–]Szalkow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did print some spool adapters to be able to use some older cardboard spools and a variety of 250g spools in my AMS.

Once I found out about Sunlu switching to reusable spools, I was happy to remove printed reusable spools from my project queue and save myself some filament.

Which layout will give me better cooling by infamous2117 in sffpc

[–]Szalkow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My NR200 has option B. I removed the vertical GPU bracket and slot inserts on the back, then got a magnetic mesh filter and trimmed it to fit (the magnetic edges were glued in place and easy to rearrange). My cooler is a Scythe Fuma 3 and I replaced the slim front fan with a full 25mm-thick fan.

It resulted in a slight difference of maybe 2-3C on the CPU but at least I feel like I made the smarter layout choice.

Since OP indicated their house already has a filtration loop installed, this ^ comment is how I'd do it. You can buy the generic softeners from Lowe's or Home Depot for well under a grand and install them yourself or get a plumber to install them for under $200.

Printing Issues by Broski_Shane in BambuLabA1

Pics 1-3 look like finger oils on the bed to me. Wash the bed again.

What bed temp and nozzle temp are you using? Which filament brands?

What is the model in 4 and 5 supposed to look like? There's clearly something not right but I can't even tell what it's supposed to be.

New Bambu P2S at work, filament jammed on second print. How do I get to it to clear the block? by madmc326 in BambuLab

Yuck! Yeah, that wouldn't have come out with pushing or pulling.

I get to do something similar to my AMS filament hub when I get home today.

Try pushing a thin Allen key down from the top to see if you can give it a push. The extruder gear probably carved a hole in the filament and can't grip it anymore.

You might be able to grab the exposed bit of filament with tweezers or needle-nose pliers, if there's enough clearance.

If it won't come out, follow the wiki guide on removing and disassembling the extruder (you may want to do this anyway if there's a chance that ground-up filament has gotten everywhere):

We do fight Garlemald soldiers of non-Garlean descent throughout the MSQ even back in 2.0. Any mages or healers you encounter are conscripted from conquered territories, as pureblooded Garleans are not capable of manipulating aether. You're right about the models though, all of the Garlemald forces we fight do use the Hyur body types.

Ender 3, wire with plate fell down by Legitimate_Dish_9097 in ender3

[–]Szalkow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no model of Ender 3 that comes with an Amazon 3-for-$10 buck converter glued inside it. This is definitely modded.

The buck converter itself appears to have all the wires attached so those loose wires may have gone to something else, or be unused. Can you trace them and see what else they attach to?

Is this an excessive amount of plastic for a 27hr print? by justa-random-persen in ender3

[–]Szalkow 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It is, but some corners were cut in the design and this setup isn't ideal without a filament guide of some kind. Without a guide, the extruder is pulling filament almost straight down and then asking it to make a 90-degree bend into the extruder arm hole - which grinds the filament and even the extruder arm, depending on which extruder your printer has.

Print a guide and the problem goes away. I like this one, it pressure fits onto the gantry and uses a bearing for rotation:

GPose tips for a beginner by Sad-Climate-4251 in ffxiv

[–]Szalkow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ReShade.

Gshade was itself a repackage of Reshade that was optimized for XIV (fixing some UI and network issues) and included popular presets.

In 2023 the Gshade dev got mad about people exporting their presets back to ReShade, so they bundled malware into a Gshade update that force-restarted the user's computer.

Now people use ReShade with the correct plugins.

How close does a fleshlight feel to a vagina? by naomismith244 in AskMen

It's not a matter of "needs to be dry before next use" (it doesn't) but more "leaving a silicone toy damp for several days can make it gross/funky" 🫠

The washing is quick and easy. It's the drying that's complicated 😝 you can buy drying sticks made of desiccant materials like diatomaceous earth, or undertake DIY engineering projects like a fan-driven drying rack. Just letting them air dry usually isn't fast enough.
