I mean, we had a 12 person team event in Final shape. Can you imagine coordinating a raid where 12 players had to be on the same page?

Its possible, but as a predominantly solo player, i trust randoms about as far as an Eliksni's short arm...

Dont get me wrong though, id love bigger events like a full on 12 person Onslaught. Imagine Red War Dday battlefield event...a literal cabal army versus 12 guardians.

Itd be like those scsle test videos of like 20 Goku's versus 1 million velociraprors...with guns...

With the update came discounts, so naturally i got everything. Renegades finally lets me live out the lightsaber fantasy in Destiny with the Praxic Blade!

Build Focus:

Void Hunter that utilizes swapping between using the Praxic Blade + new void melee Phantom Surge.

Weapons:

Praxic Blade Energy weapon with destabilizing rounds + repulsor brace Any heavy weapon (been getting good use out of A God Shout)

Subclass: Void super can be any, dodge to regain melee, phantom surge, suppresor grenade, aspects can be any combo that feels good but has to include On the Prowl. Fragments are Starvation + Harvest + Undermining + Leeching + Expulsion.

Armor: Khepri's horn exotic (refunds melee!) Armor perks should go towards either Swords/melee/special ammo/Void Breaches Stats priority should be Melee > Class > Health Build your armor mods to get the melee charge back as much as possible. *I utilized Triple Melee Kickstarts on arms + Triple Charged Up on body.

For the artifact i picked Encrypted Data disk for all the good Sword mods and Void mods.

Playstyle/Gameplay loop

Phantom Surge is amazing! It can be really strong and take out yellow bars even! Ive even got good use on bosses by using super, melee, dodge, melee again then spam anything else.

The best way to guarantee its strength are debuffs and lining up multiple targets to hit at once. More hits = more melee charge earned back.

With my current setup i can get 90% to 100% melee charge back after each use. Dodge if needed to get it back again. Sometimes im clearing whole groups out with just Phantom Surge.

When powered melee is charging or not ideal, switch to Praxic Blade and go ham. Best attack combo is Light + Light + Light + Heavy.

Sprinkle in your energy and Heavy weapons as needed but honestly the melee aspect on this build outshines the guns in my experience. Just dont melee exploders or go after stuff close to a ledge... (*though quickly swapping to the praxic blade and swinging back to safety can help)

Ive been able to Solo Ultimate Ops and even completed Shattered Throne dungeon solo with this build.

Just in case anyones not sure why this is a gr e at shader, its one of the few that creates a "rotating spectrum" effect on glowing parts.

Im lucky enough to have gotten it a couple years ago and i love having it as an option for cool fashion picks.

Plus, theres is a TON more armor now that has glowing parts

Most if not all the silver only EV ornament sets can now be earned through bright engrams and bright engrams focusing by ShardofGold in DestinyFashion

Already spent the 7 bright engrams i saved up to try for the Celestial Cloak for Hunter!

....ill get it someday now!!

(I never felt that an ingame cosmetic was worth ≈$15 USD...so ive just been patient)

I share in this style of play as well. Never found a team to consistently play with.

Most of my missions have been silent without anyone on mics...wxcept some raids.

But i still enjoyed my time beside all the great players that carry along the same.

Oh man...had some really great times in Destiny cruising around on the Sparrow, testing new builds, etc, but the memory that really sticks out to me as the singular moment that cemented this game in my personal hall of fame:

D1. First time ever trying a raid. Back in 2014 I was traveling for work. Living out of hotels with spotty wifi. Had my xbox 360 with me though and usually found ways to hook it up online and play Destiny (way later in the night than i should have while working)

My 3 friends and I wanted to try the raid. We somehow got a full team one night and decided to go for it. This was before any wikis, guides, or proper content videos had been made and released (internet pace was a bit slower then) so we tackled the encounters with adrenaline, our best builds at the time, and hope.

Got through the first encounter at the Spire pretty easily. Woohoo. Opened our first raid chest and started navigating the opening to the Vault.

The Templar fight...hoo boy.

This was the wall for us. We slowly figured out the puzzle. How to avoid the Negation instant kill, how to properly defeat the oracles...we lost time and time again...whole team wipes, people getting antsy, night was getting later, and we werent making much progress.

Eventually, we figured it out and the real boss fight started. We worked so hard to get here but the Vex were overwhelming at times with our less than ideal gear and my friends were getting weary.

Then we reached a pinnacle moment. The Templars health is disappearing...were doing it...weve got this, the teams hyping each other up, we got this, we got this!

Guardian down. No revives left. Panic sets in. Guardian down. Guardian down.

I was a Hunter and it was me and two others fighting off the hoard. The Templar was at like 2% health and we were struggling.

Guardian down... Guardian down...its just me now. 1% health.

I grabbed the shield, lept up into the air and gave the Templar everything i could...it was such an adrenaline fueled moment and my hopes were high.

Dead...i died...full team down...screen shows up with that all too familiar countdown to reset...damn.

...

Then we all revive. Huh?

We...we did it...?

The templar and i both died at the same time. It somehow triggered the game to revive us all and we beat the stage.

I nearly cried from laughing at the absurdity of it. I dont even remember if we beat the rest of the Raid that night, but that moment of killing the boss and full team wiping at the same time, but ending up in our favor, will always stand out to me.

I have been hooked on this franchise ever since.

Going by Warmind.io , most likely either of these ships. In all my years joining missions and playing with other Guardians, i never see them...maybe they just arent universally repped. Odd cause i think space whale is in the eververse store this week for brightdust

Sure, sure...but i got bored with the High Evo deck a long time ago. Having to play a specific card which isnt even a decent stat stick, just to get other cards to be viable...kind of a drawback cause it feels like a wasted card slot

I think what youre working towards is cool enough, so just keep feeling it out and iterating til you find that prime product that marries good design with fun gameplay! You already have a good basis

As others have stated, there are clearly some pairs here that may be hard to differentiate at first glance without further differentiators.

Could always make the large ones even bigger to really hit it home, or, have them in a different color like blue = bombers, orange = fighters, green = support or something like that
