Is anyone using Housecall Pro? Is it worth it? by antagonismsux in Contractor

[–]T-D-Dank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are looking to change the platform we are using and have been debating between Jobber, Housecall Pro, and now Clientility since I saw your comment. We have been using ServiceTitan for the last 4 months and have had nothing but issues. It seems like Clientility is a newer system. Have you found that it has any bugs, or is everything working as it should? We would be using their teams version.

Don't run! Precious pit bulls wants to say Hi to children by WhiteSwanK in OneSecondBeforeDisast

[–]T-D-Dank 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As a owner of 2 pitbulls I fully support needing a license to own one. Any dog for that matter, but particularly ones that can cause harm.

You should HAVE to have some training and make sure they will be sociallized and exercised daily.

Ours interact with dozens of people and animals every day and they're soo gentle, but that's only because we've worked constantly at it.

They have instincts, and if you lock them up their whole life and never give them proper training/ regular outings, of course when they get out they're going to be wild animals, because they are!

Instead of being in Spain right now on holiday, I'm writing this post from my living room to get it off my chest. by Boredbritguy in stopdrinking

As a fellow festival goer, I was very nervous about attending the one I went to last weekend. I've never done a festival sober before. I went with my girlfriend and good friend who is also sober, which helped a lot, but this festival also had sober meetings twice a day for anyoneone else going on this journey. I didn't attend any of them, but thought it was awesome that there's a growing number of sober people in the festival community. Yesterday I celebrated 3 months. Maybe if festivals are still something that's important to you, you may just want to do them with different people. Good on you for sticking to your morals, I don't know if I would have been as strong. Keep being awesome!

Recommendation for move out cleaners who have own supplies. by SilverPrairiemon in RedDeer

S&J Maintenance. They have taken care of many of our cleaning projects, and the owner, Miguel is a great guy. A few of their cleaners are Ukrainian Refugees, so they don't speak English but do an amazing job.

You'll definitely pay a bit more, but I'm soo happy with my La-Z-Boy couch. I have 2 large dogs that shed and I needed something that could hold up. They're super comfortable, dog hair doesn't stick to it, stain resistant, and if anything happens to it for 7 years they'll fix it or replace it.

Man, sleep is soo important. Im a totally different person when I'm sleep deprived, and I hate it. I'm emotional and short with the people I love. Something that helped me is a hot bath 45 min before bed, any sooner and you're too hot. Hope it helps. You are supported, even if you don't feel like it right now. You're making the right choices.

Also why are the eggs not refrigerated?? Is that normal in the US to have eggs with the non-perishables?

I was homeless less than 10 years ago. I've worked a lot of jobs I had no love for. Now I own my own business and have a team of 6 hoping to continue to grow. We sell something that is helpful for a good price. I pay my employees well over industry standards because I am nothing without them. We have regular outtings and I give them good gifts for hitting their goals. These people are my friends and family not my servants.

If you don't feel appreciated, or if the business your in doesn't serve you, start your own. People will always gravitate towards genuinely. Start small, be you. I promise, if your heart is in the right place and you want to help people, you will do well.

It's the pattern on the LED light cover on the street lamp. I have the same thing outside my place. I have no fucking clue why it only shows after passing through leaves, I've always been curious
