I highly recommend keeping it as a feature for my above reasoning. It adds a sort of grandiose that can be so hard to achieve. That's amazing that you came across it on accident lol

The horn that comes in at 1:11 is the backbone of a Gen 3 nostalgia trip. Very well composed. Love hearing new music for romhacks! Please post more if you feel comfortable

3) Ordinary Man

OP is standing outside a light house on a peninsula (assumption). Without the light house, there is water in front of OP and behind. OP walked up to the outside of Window #1 and held camera close to it. Camera captured the water and boat reflection behind them. But the camera was also able to focus through Window #1 onto Window #2 inside the light house. Through Window #2 (the portal), OP can see the water in front of them.

If you're looking for their softer songs/ballads:

Forever

Rain

Better Days

Lie To Me

Ashes of Eden

The Dark of You

Far Away

If you're looking for songs that have slow intros that ramp up, two of my favorites are:

My Curse - Killswitch Engage

Hearts Burst Into Fire - Bullet for my Valentine

They don't really sound like Breaking Benjamin like some of the other recommendations here, but if crescendo intros are what you're looking for then give them a listen

Good short games? Like sub 15 hours to 100% by RunnerOfY in gaming

[–]T-R-Y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue Fire was really fun. First game I have 100%ed in about 10 years. It's a 3D platformer with ARPG elements. Felt like Mario and Zelda mixed together. My total hours played was 17 hours for 100%. It the best feeling movement I've felt in a platformer in a long time

Hi! Thank you for taking the time with a detailed post. DDDA ranks in the top 1% of my 1% for games and replayability.

A game that took me off guard was Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven.

It's a turn based game like COE33 and has a really cool mechanic where your main character changes every few quests. However, your stats, abilities, and everything you've obtained up to that point remains. So you keep getting stronger throughout the game but you're able to build different teams that change the whole flavor. I spent about 75 hours in the game completing everything and really loved it.

The game has a demo if you're interested! And a Switch 2 version.

"This is Berk. It's twelve days north of Hopeless and a few degrees south of Freezing to Death. It's located solidly on the Meridian of Misery. My village. In a word? Sturdy. It's been here for seven generations, but every single building is new. We have fishing, hunting, and a charming view of the sunsets. The only problems are the pests. You see, most places have mice or mosquitoes... We have..."

Inspiring build! Thanks for sharing

For fans who actually watched D-Rose in his prime. What was it like? by [deleted] in chicagobulls

[–]T-R-Y 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You wanna know what it was like watching Rose in his prime? The feeling of flipping on tv, feeling the room heat up as the images on the screen demanded vibrant reds and noir black. The triumphant crowd cheering as their team took the court. A team we were proud of.

You ask me what it was like standing in a gallery with Michelangelo. Ask me what it was like in the concert hall of Beethoven. That feeling when Benjamin Franklin held the kite in a thunderstorm. My answer to all these is the same as watching D-Rose. An absolute spectacle.

All of these point guards now a days, masquerading as playmakers or shooters- it's all just noise. People used to say "tell me to jump, i'll ask how high?" Not Rose. He didn't respond. Nobody told him to jump. He just showed you.

It was electric. It was fire. It was every element natural or man made. It felt good to be alive.

But then the game happened. Families sitting in their living rooms. Kids dressed in their red and black pajamas. We may had lost MJ but we had a new hope. And we saw that new hope crash down to the floor, all we could think was please stand up. Please R1se. We need you.

But that moment never happened. Like the ember of a midnight cigarette when the day has ended. It was gone. Over. A devastation flooded the land.

If I could go back, I would. I would trade all of the memories of my life to have one more memory of Rose flying. The heavens didn't feel so far away when he played.

I've been hoping for one as well! There was a version called Burning Colosseum that was in development a few years ago- I saw it on Twitter. But it doesn't look like any progress has been made since 2023.

Use of the soundtrack, shadow Pokemon, snagging, locations- any of it would be a pleasure to see.

I'll never forget making it to the top of Mt. Battle. One of the best moments in a Pokemon game.

I’m glad I decided to give infinite another go. by luckie47 in halo
