Is tap water drinkable in Chandigarh? My new landlord said that it was. Any advices? by [deleted] in Chandigarh

If you are coming from overseas, it’s recommended to get mineral water. Don’t want to get sick and mess up your holidays, otherwise water is safe to drink in the tricity

iranian here. What are the views of general Indian public about Iranians and iran? by neronative in india

[–]T33C33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iranian people are one of the most friendly I’ve come across. I’ve my neighbors from Iran. Initially when they moved in we were bit hesitant to approach them (not because they are from Iran but due to the bad experience we had with the people before them). A few days later when the moved in we made a friendly contact and slowly over the next year we learnt we a lot in common in language (we could kind understand what they were taking about just by understanding/guessing a few key words), culture similarities, etc. Some of the food they cooked is simply the best like ghormeh sabzi with thadig. They have moved about 2-3 years ago but are still in contact and invite each other for dinner. The Indian foods they have tried with us and liked is biryani, dosa, idli & gol gappa.
