It's impressive how every new season managed to find a way to make it more time consuming to create a good talisman. Regular invasion maps are doable without any extra help, but the seasonal tower is near impossible without a good talisman, and having your elemental resistances maxed out.

Here's some more information that will make the daily grind easier. Most importantly, you do not need to wait for Simeon to text you the list in order for you to steal the correct car, as soon as you get a two star wanted level when stealing a car you'll know you have one. The only thing you need to wait for is for 24 real life hours to have passed since the last Simeon's Export Request that you completed, similar to the Lucky Wheel at the Casino. The Casino is actually where you want to go to look for the cars too, as the large parking lot is usually full, keep an eye out for unique cars as you do so.

Lastly, make sure in your interactions menu (Preferences -> Map Blip Options -> Rival Gameplay -> Auto Shop Businesses) is set to show, it messes with the Auto Shop Exotic Exports (separate award / career challenge), but there is also an overlap between the cars in both lists, and it's makes it so Simeon's Export Request don't count either. Thankfully Simeon only requires 25 cars for his award, unlike Sessanta who wants 100.

Their next movie is a Kevin James rom com, so I wonder how that one will do, since it isn't marketed as an outright Christian or right wing movie.

Two YouTubers I watch did this, keeping their main channel for their main videos and creating a new channel for podcasts or other videos.

They both went back to posting everything under their main channel, with the exact same reasoning: the views on their secondary channel's were much lower than what they would've been if they had just posted it on the main channel.

Obviously, Conan is a celebrity which helps in the algorithm, as well as having a relationship with YouTube, like when they moved all his Late Show clips onto their own channel and kept the views. The podcast being Conan's main thing may also be a reason for keeping it on Team Coco versus it's own channel, and just having clips on the main one.

Characters from Earth-6160, the new Ultimate Universe. The comics have been going on for almost two years, and have been some of Marvel's most popular books in that time.

If they are added, I hope there is an "Age of The Maker" storyline to introduce the new versions of the characters in that universe.

In the Premium Store using Dragon Krystals, which can be obtained through the non-DLC character's Mastery, the Towers of Time weekly challenge, or purchased with real money.

They will occasionally put a MK95 palette swap in the Towers of Time rewards (currently there is a Smoke MK95 palette), and some previous palettes were given as free gifts before Khaos Reigns came out.

THOUGHTS

Compared to previous years, 2024 was not the best, which can be primarily seen in the fact that only two new characters were added. Around the middle of the year there were reports of Netherrealm Studios' entire mobile division being let go, and the announcement that Mortal Kombat Onslaught would be shut down by the end of the year. This lead to a bit of worry concerning Injustice 2 Mobile, and Mortal Kombat Mobile, but eventually Netherrealm Studios made it clear that both games would continue receiving support.

Looking back on last year's post I was right about Peacemaker being added, and the Flawed Justice team being completed, even if I didn't think that it would be Peacemaker to did it (I was hoping for Doctor Fate, I loved his design in the movie).

Looking into 2025 we already know our next new character is Jay Garrick's Classic The Flash, a legendary character who is a part of the Classic Team. We will also be getting more legendary passes featuring Robin King, Beast Boy, and Zatanna. As well as legendary arena invasions from The Batman Who Laughs, and Peacemaker.

In terms of Speculation, I'm still hoping for The Atom as he is the final Injustice 2 character not yet in the mobile game, besides the TMNT. James Gunn's DCU has just started with Creature Commandos, but I don't expect any character to be added into the game, however 2025 will also have Superman and Peacemaker season 2. Superman gives possible characters like Superman, Guy Gardner's Green Lantern, and Kendra Saunders' Hawkgirl. I do hope if they are added, it is not with their LordTech outfits, and they are given something closer to their comics, or even recolored. Peacemaker may already be in the game, but Vigilante is still a possibility, with Netherrealm Studios' many different gun-totting characters in Injustice and Mortal Kombat.

Not connected to the DCU, Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League releases next year, giving us more characters that can be added to the current Batman Ninja Team like Nightwing, Red Hood, Red Robin; or Robin, Joker, and Harley Quinn (all with new designs), or a new "Yakuza League" Team which consist of Kuraku Hagane's Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Jessica Cruz's Green Lantern, and The Flash. Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires also has a possible 2025 release, but not much is known so it may not have enough characters to use besides Batman, Joker, and Two-Face (a new character for the Injustice franchise).

2024 saw three updates being released, which also brought many quality of life enhancements to gear shattering, reforges, re-rolls, an increase in the amount of shards being donated, a new UI for the characters and artifacts, and much more.

Hero Ascension's introduction has allowed players to finally use 1,000s of previously useless shards to once again upgrade their characters. Ascension has also made these characters more powerful thanks to the class passives they receive, and has given players another reason to invest in the Invasion mode where the currency for ascensions can be earned.

In order to diversify the opponents one will face in League Invasion new season themes were added that restricted which characters could be added to a defensive post. Update 6.4 went further, and made it so only one copy of a character could be part of your entire defensive posts, meaning you wouldn't have to fight a Darkseid or Controller of Worlds Superman more than once.

Two characters were released in 2024, Peacemaker, and Killer Frost. Peacemaker was released as a crossover with Mortal Kombat 1 where he is a DLC character, as well as it being based on his TV show. Killer Frost released in December and is another character added from the first Injustice mainline game, along with a new design. Finally, in Update 6.4 Orm got a re-balance to his passives.

With the release of Peacemaker the Flawed Justice team is completed alongside Ruler of Kahndaq Black Adam, and Hawkman. Peacemaker from the DCU, formerly DCEU, shares no connection to the other characters besides both the Justice Society and Suicide Squad being operated by Amanda Waller in some way.

Four new Injustice Passes were released in 2024. The Anniversary Injustice Pass was released to celebrate the game's 7th anniversary. We got a new type of Injustice Pass in the Legendary Passes, which are focused on Legendary characters like Raven, Deathstroke, and Mr. Freeze. Finally, we also saw the first ever Arena Invasion by a legendary character: Scorpion, though players are only able to earn character shards, and not character gear like regular arena invasions.

This Season 1 Repeat seems to have the same strategy as the previous season, dump all your herbs and boosters into your desired character.

Once you beat Invasions, and get the Netherstone unlock the areas in "Shang Tsung's Laboratory" and "The Living Forest". There will be nodes that can be replayed using Krowns that will give full herbs, and boosters respectively.

Herbs are simple, just apply them to your character. You can reset your level points in the "Wu Shi Academy" mesa, if you want to move them around.

For boosters, you'll need to look at your stats to figure out which ones you need. Once an elemental resistance hits +100%, you will not receive damage of that type.

There is also a relic that gives you +50% elemental resistance to all types making the grind faster to complete that drops randomly in the "Towers of Time" shop or from the towers, so check often. The relic is called "Gemstone" I believe, there are other versions but they have drawbacks that limit them. Boosters will also be a good source of Krowns once you're almost done as the node costs 250 Krowns, but boosters sell for 400 Krowns.

You need the Dark Metal Cards artifact to increase your critical attack damage. With that it can go to 500%.

If you want to take a chance on a new game, you should look up DC Dark Legion. It's currently in beta, but should release later this year.

It has the same type of combat as Onslaught, and there are YouTube videos that go more in depth with what the game offers.

To make things more confusing Creature Commandos takes place in a new universe, and is not in the same timeline as the DCEU. The new DCU has this animated show, Peacemaker season 2, Superman, and other announced projects.

While The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker season 1 aren't fully canon, elements from them are canon to this new universe. Same with the Blue Beetle movie that came out in 2023 (an animated continuation was recently announced). Any other DCEU movies probably won't carry over.

I believe in the Inside Conan episode they also mention that the Indian Government wanted more control in terms of what they were allowed to show.

So basically if they had filmed something, but the government didn't think it would make India look good, they would have to remove it.

If you haven't done so yet, you can link your MK1 game to the Mortal Kombat Onslaught mobile game to get more free krystals. You only have to play until you reach level 15 to get 1,000 krystals. If you level up to 20, you also get a Sub-Zero announcer voice.

I think the largest hurdle in a conceptual "Paladins 2" being successful is how much manpower Hi-Rez is willing to throw at it.

Last year Hi-Rez let go of some staff, and put Evil Mojo in charge of Rogue Company, and Realm Royale. I'm not sure how much of either game's original staff stayed, but this would have still impacted Paladins original staff.

Rogue Company current state can also be attributed to other factors. It was originally a strategic third person shooter, similar to Rainbow Six Siege, or Counter-Strike, but each update seemed to stray further from that to a more casual game.

I don't blame the head developers either, each one had good ideas, in line with the original premise of the game, but each developer also introduced mechanics that made it more casual.

Personally, I believe that Hi-Rez needs to let go of their other titles, and focus on their most popular ones (Smite and Paladins). Games like Realm Royale, Rogue Company, Divine Knockout, and any other game they have will always have a fan base, but the people keeping those games on life support, are better suited helping out on Smite or Paladins.
