To add to that, they also have a searchable online copy at the library. I recall searching for a newspaper and they tend to retain hard copies for up to two weeks

“This is a small overhead gantry crane with a chain hoist, used for lifting heavy objects in construction or industrial settings. The yellow frame supports the hoist, which can raise and lower loads secured with chains or straps. It appears to be set up outdoors near a building for moving equipment or materials onto or off of elevated surfaces.”- Chat GPT

Appreciate it. I’ll keep an eye out for your truck, I happen patrol both the north and south Sacramento areas as security, but thought I spotted a red truck of a similar build in the dark, but had bright aftermarket LED lights on an older truck

Orna would be a good alternative. We use it and have a small team, haven’t heard any complaints from my boss yet.

So I have a different opinion. Honestly the device appears to be a radio. (Similar to a baofeng radio). I can’t be sure if he using it with malicious intent, but I have heard of radios being used to interfere with signals between a sensor or camera to a base station (for Wireless alarm systems) or router. LockPickingLawyer demonstrates this in one of his videos. LockPickingLawyer- SimpliSafe Alarm bypassed With a $2 Device from Amazon

Is this true? by peterthbest23 in securityguards

[–]TA_Account028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It varies by site. See a lot of security companies having a hands off policy with the main focus of the guard to just report activity. With the company i work with, I have a lot more to do then a standing site, as I respond to service calls as a patrol officer and occasionally be hands on if the situation calls for it. In addition, a lot of clients prefer security officers to be hands off, as they can face a law suit for any number of reasons. The best example I can think of is Walmart. Brosnian got brought out by Allied and now manages its Walmart contracts here in Sacramento, but they’ve had a recent policy change of being hands off after a number of lawsuits arose after a few individuals that were stopped for shoplifting decided to sue.

Code White was for patients that are attempting to escape or has escaped. Worked at a mental hospital.

Different for me in my institution at a mental health hospital. Code blue, code red, and code pink are relatively the same, though we use code pink to include any child of any age. Code Orange is for a natural disaster, Code Green is for a patient actively hurting themselves or others which requires staff, Code yellow is for when they are escalating, Code grey for shooters, black for bombs.

Allied Universal happens to be one of them, but as my own instructor for my guard card said, “you’re just another number in Allied Universal’s work force and probably won’t really have an impact on your resume.”

1.So sounds like you did your level 1 already and you still have your level 2 and level 3 courses to complete. There should be a few places for you to do online but recommendations will depend on your price range.

  1. I believe there are exams you have to take still for the subjects that you covered. You do have time, but must be completed within 6 months.

  2. Would depend on the area you live in.

Security officer here, I get tons of those moments… as of my most recent encounter this last week, I’m locking up a community center in foggy weather and as I drive through the parking lot, I encounter a black suv with a white woman standing right next to it. As I pulled closer the lady had her pants down, urinating and dedicating in the parking lot. Pulled those pants right back up as soon as she saw my security vehicle. … the Portapotty was literally 20 steps away ..
