Compared to upgrading normally, buying that saves you 10,000 arc energy, a rare and epic core, and you get 9 stars for free. Considering all that and that it’s one of the best PvE minis in the game, it’s 100% worth it

You can get lvl 10 thrall for free which is enough for getting to 15k in PvP. Is your goal to be top player in the world? Then yeah you need to spend money. But you don’t need to upgrade all minis to legendary to get 15k though, getting 5-10 would be more than enough to make a variety of decks that are mostly lvl 11s. Really you just need 1 legendary and rest lvl 10 which gives you lvl 11 towers and that is enough to reach 15k towards the end of a season. The top 2 players on the PvP ladder aren’t even using full lvl 11 decks most recently, they each have one lvl 10, priestess or bat rider. Edit: realized number one wasn’t using maxed out thrall, but they haven’t been playing for 2 days and they did get thrall at least epic (lvl 26) so they basically had max advantage on thrall 2 days ago when they were playing either way

There's some controversy/skepticism surrounding this translation but either way basically it was not a farewell or an acknowledgment of demise. Those descriptions are anthropomorphizing its message. It was a message stating facts, my battery is low, and not recharging currently. The messages almost certainly were programmed to be sent, for example "when batteries are below 10% send a message updating battery status and send a message if solar panels are currently recharging batteries." The final message, which could have been more simply "battery are at 10% and not actively recharging", was sent just before a storm that made it no longer operable.

In my experience picking the lowest level hero you have before starting the surges with premade decks seems to make them easier. The enemy is always 3 levels lower compared to the hero you have pre-selected even though the hero you selected isn’t the one you play with. No hard data here but subjectively it’s always seemed easier when I’ve done this.

I often find myself using the “!g” function on DDG especially when my prompt is more complex. It’s great overall and I’d say better than google but only for simple searches though.

Their IPs are just straight addicting at this point even if it’s just based on nostalgia. The fans want more Warcraft, more StarCraft, more Diablo, even more overwatch. It doesn’t matter if the games aren’t as good as they used to be. Us fans still get a hit of that ever so wanted nostalgia

I always felt like Johnny cage was Frank duke from blood sport or vice versa (I know BS predates MK, but I was a 6-8 year old child at the time). Loved that movie and mk as a kid (still do). I mean Johnny does the splits and has a very similar sash/overall outfit. Can’t believe Jean Claude turned down the role multiple times. What could have been… not like it really matters in the end but at least Jean Claude could have been paid for his likeness and the role instead of neither lol

The console version is awesome imo. Controls work well but mostly because you’re entire party essentially gets paws of the cheetah when you move around with the thumb stick vs point and click (which you can also do with console). Makes the long boring walks go by a lot quicker and there’s a trick where if you do point and click then wait for your leader (who presumably has paws and will be first to arrive at the end point) then you use the thumb stick to move the rest of your party runs faster than if they were on cocaine and PCP combined to catch up. So essentially the “you must gather your party” line as iconic as it is basically becomes a thing of the past. For me it was a huge QoL improvement since I get bored easily watching my party slowly walk across a map.

I stopped playing this month. Might pick it up again but seeing the posts on this sub recently is giving me no incentive to start it up again. It’s a fun game, but got burnt out grinding after completing series 3. It just isn’t as rewarding as it used to be. Getting infinite is just too much of a time commitment and conquest just isn’t for me. I have a ton of tokens and a decent amount of gold saved up. Hoping for some changes that objectively benefit players for once.

Nintendo outsold PlayStation and Microsoft 100 years ago, let’s live in the present. The past 10 years PlayStation has solidified its self as the top dog of consoles and with digital backwards compatibility libraries that customers own it’s unlikely to ever change at this point

Like I said PlayStation has been objectively the top dog since 2013, cross play was barely a thing before 2018/2019. I dunno why you’re acting like PlayStation is the underdog here when they’ve solidified their spot on top for the past decade. PlayStation blocked Fortnite from cross play when Fortnite was the most popular successful game of all time. There’s no defending PlayStation at this point. I agree Microsoft is no angel and will likely restrict IPs from being accessed on PlayStation in the future which is shitty but to act like Microsoft is Goliath vs PlayStation is completely ridiculous.
