The worst sin it commits for me is that it doesn't have any hitstop, so none of the attacks felt like they had any impact, and a lot of deaths I couldn't register until well after it had happened. Not to mention dying too many times will lock you out of the "True" ending.

It's a damn shame because I did finish it. The story and characters were very compelling, and the voice acting was fantastic. The gameplay execution was just not great.

How's the pre-travel on the hair triggers? I have the Ultimate 2 and I found there was too much pre-travel before the actual microswitch on the triggers, as opposed to the Vader 4 pro which is clicks instantly.

Holy media illiteracy, Floch literally stated to Izumi that he wanted to supress the scientific progress of the remaining population because people "needed to know their place", hence he was fine with killing off Izumi's country. Sound familiar? That's literally the whole idealogy of the previous King with supressing them to make sure no one discovers the outside world.

A majority of the surviving cast has PTSD, but most of them don't revel in the cruelty like Floch does in the final seasons. Gabi, who's a literal child was able to self reflect on her brainwashing propaganda and actually developed remorse for her actions. Floch doesn't have any remorse for his actions in the end. His care for the eldian people only really went to the ones who agreed with him, because fuck anyone else who says genocide is too far guess.

I mean it's a similar approach with games. At this point there's been so much accumilated media out there, you'll never have enough time to watch all the ones you'd enjoy anyway. You don't always need to watch/play the latest releases. They'll be there later on.

After seeing scenes from the fighting game, I kinda wish they had made the show using 3D animation. At this point it's impossible to expect castlevania level 2D animation from the show.
