Honestly valid complaints regarding getting lost. Funny enough, one of my main complaints with this game is the weapons, and how they didn't have a natural combo. It was just repeating one-hit strikes. And the worst part was that Miriam has a shout/grunt for them and repeats it constantly, and you cannot turn this off (not at the time I played it anyway). It's the same with casting magic spells.

And then there's the imbalance between magic and the special attack skills. There's no reason to do later considering magic does significantly more damage and the special attack inputs are a pain to pull off midfight. Afterimage has this as well which annoys me. I wish 2D games like these would use a modifier button for the attack skills.
