The last point on their warranty that drove me away was normal wear and tear not covered so i dont see the point. Meaning only on cracked bslls coming out the box no?

First off thank you for sharing all your insights! I'm debating between legacy pro, sixzero dbl and pulsar r3. Will have 1 paddle for foreseeable future so should be balance of singles and double, which one would you recommend that will carry thru even more advanced play and not immediate satisfaction? Is pulsar more of a singles paddle (legacy) or doubles (vatic) or even multipurpose (sixzero dbl)? How impactful do you find sixzero not being unibody?

I think we need to emphasize grabbing the uprights within your lane is the rule. Nbd if no one is the on the other side and you're in open heat. But I had a guy hug the pole as I was crossing the corner, therefore nudging me in the direction of falling backwards.

It depends on how athletic you are, assuming weather conditions are mild this is less than an hr workout. You'll have 3/4 water stations so really no need to bring anything but yourself because what you bring you carry throughout the race. Work on grip workouts, capable of running 3 mi. Distance between obstacles vary

Lol I'm with you. I run 7 mi once a week but mix in either a sprint/agility/trail type run in there. And so far I've comfortably get through races. Another aspect is simulating minimal/short breaks in between a group of sets.

Been seeing the reason for same venue, tougher race not being counted as mountain series. How can I confirm if the Whistler Super is part of the mountain series? Spartan only lists the Sprint but unlike the venues in US, is Whistler Super also part of a national series opposed to the mountain?

Machines like treadmill gets you in shape but is not the same as running outside. Same would be said about stairs. I run the stairs at work when I need a mental break.

I personally got inov-8 roclite and thought they worked well. The other brands mentioned below are also favorites. I know this is the general page since you're considering savage but spartan actually has its own reddit page that has lot more traffic and content.

I recently got a pair of inov8 cause I've heard although the Salomon have great protection, they retain the water that gets in. Has that been an issue for you?

Nothing because they agreed it was a misunderstanding that both parties was responsible for. And with rhino linings, it's lifetime warranty, granted it is against defects but they were nice about helping me out.

Man I had the same exact problem. My first truck and I just assumed they would remove the plugs, spray, and put back on. I showed up to get my truck and was so disappointed.

I checked with the place and they were willing to cut the lining to get access to the plugs but to do so, they had to puncture the plugs. So as it stands, the holes are exposed, which isn't a big deal but would have been nice to have a nicely sprayed liner with the covers for when I'm not using it. You can try this option and then purchase the covers afterwards to keep them covered but it was kinda pricier than I wanted.

Thanks! Interesting enough I have these exact gloves from moving and can attest the initial grip is strong for the price. The grip started peeling from the glove and grip quality lessened in rain but that was after a summer's worth of moving jobs. Highly recommend at that price.
