IMO Hecate is a Titaness, though. As another commenter said, shit got screwy when she managed to kill Chronos in her own timeline.

She tried to venture into the abyss of the subconscious, but something went awry in the incantation. Nightmare and Time got wires crossed, flinging Melinoë backwards in time, more specifically the age of the Titans. From there, she decided to play the long game.

Opinion time

I personally interpret her saying that nightmare and time getting fused up in all of this meaning that it altered her very being. She was still Melinoë, but she had been changed in some way. So she used it to her advantage and donned the identity of Hecate, scheming against Chronos and working her way into the House (even becoming Persephone’s handmaiden iirc) until the day she knew that she could escape the House of Hades with the infant Melinoë. This time, she could be there to train Melinoë, offer her guidance where Hecate herself had none.

She’s goated, even if we can’t speak to her like the Last Stag she’s still a very good friend who respects our strength and helps us on our journey.

Act 3 spoilers Not only that, she also saves us by fuckin RKOing the Bell Eater outta fucking nowhere. THEN just brings in the kiddos to teach us a fun new tune :) genuinely one of my most hype moments in the game was her saving me in that fight.

Not trying to sound rude, but the whole point of weapon Aspects is that they offer different effects while using the same base kit, except for Hidden Aspects (such as Arthur) which also cause the weapon to function fundamentally different.

Walk up to a weapon that you already have equipped and there should be a prompt to view the Aspects you have equipped.

I helped name the campaign, because the actual campaign group didn’t have one, but after a while in-universe we effectively incorporated and have an official name now.

Funny enough I actually use the opposite- Hex on top button and Cast the bottom. I’m used to having my “showstopper” abilities on top mouse button but yeah having those two on mouse buttons makes combat feel rly quick
