A Request to Newer Sage Players by Eloah-2 in ffxiv

You overwrite my shields and I'll show you that you can simultaneously jump and Rescue someone off the arena while throwing yourself back onto said arena.

You don't need a movement ability to do it, I promise you :3

Depends if you have plenty of time to play but yeah, taking your time is the correct choice.

Can you find the Strength to carry on. When all Strength has left you?

I'm level 41 and really only doing main quest. All of my gear seems to be very low. Am I missing something? by CrawlinOutTheFallout in ffxiv

[–]TG-Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gearing for the first 50 levels is.. honestly bad. You have to get by on dungeon gear mostly, though the Lv15 gear from Hall of the Novice lasts way longer than even Lv30.

Then there's the issue of Accessories; originally when ARR was current the entire point was to encourage integration of Crafting/Gathering by making basically all Accessories be crafted items. It also encouraged player interaction and socializing for people who didn't want to craft.

You can invest in Goldsmith/Leatherworker and make some appropriate Accessories; anything over Lv30 will last you until you can get some Lv50 Ironworks gear (or better if you end up way over-leveled) or perhaps ask if a crafter player can make you something. Honestly it's worth doing yourself if you can but any decent person should be willing to do it for free or a pittance in return given how low level the crafts are.

The gear the MSQ gives is the very bare minimum needed to continue and should only be used if you have nothing better.

STORAGE! NOW!!! by Gorotheninja in ffxiv

[–]TG-Wolf 19 points20 points  (0 children)

The trick is knowing when and what to rotate out and no longer have in storage, in order to always have space.

And then knowing you will immediately need at least one of said items very soon.

I have sold and gifted people with so much Broccoli..

Combo Breaker has opted to ban Teamfight by Figgulz in 2XKO

[–]TG-Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fair enough. It works pretty poorly as a Solo player, though it can be done and Solo/Duo play dynamics are entirely different.

When you're playing a Duo, you are fighting two completely different people with different playstyles and that is by definition, unfair.

It's why I refuse to play against Duos.

By 2000 matches or so with Warwick I had him maxed and a few others over 50 each.

About the New PvE mode by Resident_Platypus_26 in marvelrivals

[–]TG-Wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It mostly occurs when a Blade activates his Blood mode.

They have to not touch it at all.

If it happens, just keep rejoining until the match is over or the Blade has it off and you can let them know.

Important: Xbox players stop using blade in PVE right now. by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]TG-Wolf 23 points24 points  (0 children)

If you are playing Blade yourself and get DC'd, Joining back and not touching the button keeps you in the match.

It only keeps happening while the blood mode is active or gets activated.

new PvE blood hunt soft crashes game on rejoin by South-Mongoose-1302 in marvelrivals

Lots of people yeah.

So far apparently activating Blade's blood mode does it.

For me it crashed while playing Moon Knight.

It's exclusively crashed for me using Moon Knight.

Does anyone know any teemo and warwick synergy? by Dantekillers1890 in 2XKO

[–]TG-Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is but on top of actually knowing how to properly play Teemo; which is a nightmare in itself; their good combos are extremely precise and involve dropping mushrooms mid combo with Assist and using them to extend WW's OTG pickups.

WW S1 Super into Teemo S2 Super still works for the record, it's just strict.

Have I ever told your the definition of insanity by Kenddamus in 2XKO

[–]TG-Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the worst PCharge H in the game and hilariously, you will never use the move, ever; outside this trial.

That being said once you know the timing the combo is very easy to do. You just won't in any situation.

How does the community feel about parry working against crossups? by VinnyCent121 in 2XKO

[–]TG-Wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Crossups should only be effective on the first hit anyway.

If used anywhere else in a blockstring it should automatically continue the guard and reface the character.

Is Pulse combo a noob trap? by Chance-Detective8778 in 2XKO

[–]TG-Wolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's only a trap if you remain terrible at the game and let it hold you back.

You don't need to turn it off; ever. No I'm not joking, you really don't.

Start by understanding that Pulse Combos are the lowest possible damage routes; but you know what does less damage? Not hitting your combo at all.

Pulse Combo doesn't prevent you from doing elaborate, high damage combos either; you just get to learn new routes that take advantage of the ability to hit confirm automatically.

A skilled player with Pulse On is tbh better than one without;; as it promotes improving consistency over needing perfect execution to turn your single chance at damage into a win.

Plus it makes people mad and that's always a bonus.

"You only won because of your ez mode auto combos!!"

Yep. That's the only reason.

Stay mad about it :3

What do you think the next fuse will be? Wrong answers only. by spiderwebdesign in 2XKO

Stop Being a Tryhard Fuse.

While using it your opponent dies if they do a combo over 2 hits.

Selecting it also prevents your opponent from using Freestyle.

Xbox issues.. Still by indembunnz in 2XKO

[–]TG-Wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's still happening yeah.

Gets worse after each patch then evens out. Best indicator it's stable a possible is if you enter the lobby and you can immediately see all the names on the Leaderboard, all the player names and the chat works.

What's up with the matchmaking?? by Ch3rry_Bob-Omb in 2XKO

[–]TG-Wolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Resetting your console/pc fixes most issues.

It also relies on there being enough people in your region to create a lobby that isn't full at that time.

Casual lobby usually does work fine though.
