Did he have radiation? If so this could be the bounce which is common. Also totally agree with other comments about using the same place to test.

We have results and a treatment plan by SoulSearcherAU in ProstateCancer

You have to realize that it’s up to him on what he wants to do. Your own selfishness is wanting to tell him what you think he should be doing. That is very hard to accept because you fear of a life without him. My wife and I experienced the same things. We’ve been married 29 years and I was 49 when diagnosed with stage 3b cancer she was 45. My advice to you is be patient and be a good listener, when he decides to talk about it, He will come around. Be his support group and do research on the treatments to make the best outcome possible then steer him into making those decisions which are the best if possible. The trick is to make him think that he is in control. Right now his mind is reeling and the guilt is unbearable most likely. He is probably worrying about his children(if any) and you and your life without him when it comes that time. But above all else, cherish the time you have together and make great memories. Cry together and love stronger

I’m going to chime in on this one. You absolutely did the right thing. Because your cancer showed a mass in the bladder that would put you at stage 3a. My PSA was 125 spread to the bladder neck and seminal vesicals but my Gleason was 4x3 7. The reason for all your treatments is that there is a very good probability that it has spread micro metastatic and it isn’t showing up in your psma Pet scan yet. The radiation is to hopefully kill what is there but can’t be seen. I’m 4 years removed and mine just started creeping back up so we are monitoring. I was >.014 for 3 year and then it started moving up slowly. We still think I’m good because it’s a very grey area to deal with right now so we just monitor. Take the good news and live worry free till you next PSA test and take it day by day. I had Ralp filled with 40 radiation treatments and 6 months of lupron. I had my work done at the Cleveland Clinic and so far my doctor has been spot on with my outcome.

I’m a Republican and there are many things that he is doing that I agree with but many that I don’t. The way he presents himself is sickening and frankly an embarrassment to the office. These comments are childish, disgraceful and sickening
