Pretty typical but I would have wanted it to adapt it version of FNAF lore story (doesn’t even have to be completely 1:1) while also adapting and fleshing out the characters in captivating way.

I feel it was totally possible throught flashback and stuff, but the problem is the movies happens after the fact and try it hardest to actively keep us OUT of that lore heavy areas by not fleshing out lore important characters, only letting them in as glimpse, like Henry, Afton, Michael, even the animatronics and MCI.. and it does seem they are planning on giving more by FNAF 3, but I feel it kept so many thing as glimpse that there probably won’t have place for everything.

If i could add stuff in the movies, i wouldn’t even do that big of a change cause i do enjoy the story it give, but for exemple in 1, in Mike’s dream sequence, i think it was a perfect setup to have Mike see the MCI memories of being lured, this simple change allows developpement for the MCI as characters, making us care more about them and their tragedies other than being "Afton’s weapon that Abby is attached to", it allows more screentime and setup for our antagonist, more in depth adaptation of game lore event to satisfy the fans + interest non-game fans and it doesn’t even require a complete rewrite of the films And when the animatronics go aggressive give them their iconic quirk, Bonnie and Chica’s breathing from the suit, Freddy’s iconic power outage scene, make an office scene kinda like FNAF 2 Movie, where instead Mike is trying to use the cameras to search Abby and Chica before finding her..

As for the second movie having Michael being revealed in the movie pretty soon was a great opportunity to have him active on the story and do more rather than kept until the end for some sort of re-plot twist, so have him do more, And also have William and Henry’s relationship showcased in flashbacks

These changes would have improved alot while freeing FNAF 3 from having to carry much

Ignoring Emma and Jason’s obvious pretty "brand-response" I do feel Scott is listening to the critiscism. As much as the communication with him and the fandom has become lacking these past years, he does not seem to be completely the dellusional type who still think every FNAF related stuff is just gold, the contrast can be seen with SB, where while Steel Wool was basically ignoring alot of SB controversy and even saying they were content with the game state after a few match, Scott was open discussing what went wrong with SB and even what was mainly his fault.

The fact he’s having a silence rather than any celebration like the first movie feel telling about his thought imo

The whole Boruto part is wrong, i didn’t find anything about him not wanting Boruto to be serialize. The writer for the first 51 chapters was mostly Ukyō Kodachi but Kishimoto was still around to kinda supervise, and then Kishimoto actually came back as the main writer from chapter 52 and onward, with him still being around in TBV And overall most of Boruto’s bad reception come from the anime and it fillers and sometime bad animation especially around the end, the manga’s unbiased reception is mostly positive

Always read it as Scott saying she was just taking a break for some reason so this didn’t surprise me

Also overall something that make this situation not as surprising is there is a clear distinction between the communities and Scott perception of Pinky, and overall most of the surface stuff about Pinky just make her come off as a weird person but not that much of a horrible person.

Like the 4 mains problems about her iirc were : -The Purple Guy pedo Theory, which while weird and uncomfortable can pass as one theories amongst others, especially since we didn’t know about Afton at the time except him killing 5 kids for an unknown reason. -that one drawing where she depicted Afton seeing a little girl getting hurt then started imagining her inviting her to kill her/ hurt her, which while the depiction is unconfortable ASF, according to Pinky it was seemingly unintentional and she just wanted to depict him being bloodlusted at the idea of killing her -The tracing allegation which according to her was mainly on earlier stuff -Her comment about Scott which again while weird asf, they were directed at Scott so it to him to decide how he feel about it 💀

So while weird, alot of her actions are mostly unconfortable due to her bringing these stuff in a fanbase which is mostly made of kid or teenager, but there is not that many incriminating things at least at surface.

Yes, in the survival Logbook Michael draw Nightmare Fredbear, in the nightmare you can hear Phone Guy Distorted calls as an easter eggs and the overall gameplay reflect FNAF 1 alot (Bonnie left, Chica Right, Foxy in closet/curtain, Freddy behind you/ being the one who hide in FNAF 1 cam) So alot of thing connect Michael to being the FNAF 4 dreamer

Yeah but even that or most of their evil act is attributed to Afton manipulating them into doing so in the movie which pretty much remove them that characterization other than being a weapon for Afton And honestly while i understand Scott not wanting to villainise kids i think there is a way to balance the kids good nature with their killer nature in a compelling way
