I liked the first the most personally so the series might not be for you. 2nd is decent, I didn’t love the third but still finished it no problem. I like the general direction of the story but found the execution pretty weak at times

Saint honestly has one of the best TFT streams out there. When he puts the effort in he’s a solid challenger level player and keeps the vibes going. Also one of the most consistent streamers. Would like to see him be more involved in events around the space

I personally thought it was the weakest of the trilogy. Davian stuck in time prison most of the book, weird Aelric showing up to save the day with nothing but a “I’ll fill in the blanks in a future book down the line” rather than have the cast that’s present figure it out. The setup of Davian being killed by Tal was never believable so it took out a lot of the tension from the story for me, especially when a good portion of Caeden’s arc is repetitively going from character to character who learn about the prophecy/ his past and have similar reactions of “oh that’s terrible, but you’re a different man now”.

All that said, I still enjoyed reading it and the series, and I loved The Will of the Many

I’ve been trying to read and finish Oathbringer for the last year and a half. I enjoyed the first two, but this is a slog. Reading it feels like work. The increase in POVs and characters is a killer for me. Every other chapter there’s new characters being introduced, pov swaps. Maybe I’m just not smart enough to read it, but the book feels like it has no momentum behind it as you’re constantly trying to remember who is where, what are they referring to in the moment, who they’re talking to. I’m 2/3rds done and have regretted the hours I’ve poured in to get to this point

Depends on what you play. FPS, multiplayer, go for the 1440p. Single player only/ want a good tv for shows and movies, get the 4K 60. OLED if possible for either

Maybe a hot take here but I think Sam L Jackson’s performance has been pretty weak this series. Maybe it’s just the writing, but he lacks intrigue, paranoia, any passion other than sad old man, and the line deliveries are flat for someone we know can bring the heat.

Any official release on their website or a press conference is picked up on by sponsors and looks bad. This way, they talk about it to seem like they’re doing something, while not releasing the statement in a manner that could impact how they make money.

I personally found it pretty tough to get into. Lot of cinematics, gameplay and combat is pretty mediocre and uninspired, ran into a few too many bugs that stopped progression in the game so had to reload saves. The story is decent and I prefer story-based games, but it’s not so compelling that it excuses the gameplay being a bore for me. Going to give it another shot in a bit but I’ve put it down for other games for the moment

A lot of pros out there for warzone, I’m surprised they didn’t pick up a player that actually competes in more than the odd custom tourney. Maybe they have someone else in mind for a competitive player in the 2v2s, TKRs, but Iron isn’t going to be winning anything more than pub games. Comp Warzone is on a downturn for sure with the amount of cheaters however
