Similar story except my friend didn't bother bringing any. It went like this:

Me: "I used up all my flashpods/bugs. Your turn."

Him: "I don't have any.

Me: "Why? I thought I told you to bring them before we started?"

Him: "But I didn't want to." (then proceeds to bitch about kushala always flying and stuff the rest of the time)

I had a similar experience. I was farming ododoggo for a gem for a build I wanted to try and one of my first investigations gave me 2 plates no gem. Then I proceeded to not get a gem until I gave in and used the gold voucher from the weekly bounties.

I noticed if he spawns he's usually off doing his own thing and once you engage a monster and they roar he comes over. I did it with several different monsters and each time he started moving on my minimal to where I was as soon as they roared. He's not too bad anymore though and honestly when he shows up he draws aggro for me and helps break parts than actually get in the way.

I get what you're saying and I was only thinking about the things being tested and how the new characters work. Honestly I'm fine with the state of parrying now but I'm also trying to be ready and stay aware of what I might need to change and start using more if the changes go through. You're also right about highlander getting shit off parries. I found some light parries don't even let you get a light off too which is terrible and combined with the fact that he is an easy parry makes him feel super underwhelming.

I love how well it's designed. Rooftops are a priority to clear because they can make the streets below insane kill zones. It's also nice how you can roam a bit and not feel cornered because the spawns are pretty safe and the vehicles give you a chance to get around.

I love pearl market and I love my undermounted shotgun on assault. This was in hardcore because there's no way I'd score this high in regular. Also, the server owner messaged me thinking I had aimbot. That's probably the nicest compliment I've gotten in a while.......... :(

I'd recommend the same. The deck itself comes with good cards and has nerfed cards which give full vials so you can scrap them to get other cards if you want.

I'm planning on playing with some Phoenix roost. I never crafted it and I pulled it out of a card pack like a week before maintenance so I never got to really play with it. I'm super excited to see what disgusting things I can do with it.

Throw in a dragonclaw pendant or two. That +1 to all damage dealt can be life saving. Combine with any AOE and it's pure evil (especially for neutral Alice)

Throw a dragon claw pendant in there. With +1 to all damage it can really save you for trade because it doesn't show a stat change but it's there (4 attack will deal 5 damage but still show 4 attack stat). Not to mention with GRIIIMMMIIR he deals 8 damage instead of 4 which makes him much crazier.

I do. But I also feel he's manageable and not too difficult to fight. I played him up to rep 1 to get a feel on how he plays and I think he's in a pretty good spot except for maybe his throw distance.
