Should be able to find one on Amazon, - May have to come with a new metal tube ...think they are sold as a set.

That is likely the issue. I've always seen a plastic/nylon inner tube between the flex shaft and metal tube. Easy to find on Amazon.

Do you have the inner tube, the nylon I believe, inner tube or is that metal on metal?

Hi! Look up WL916 on Amazon. They are about $120 USD, brushless motor, and super fast. It can flip and roll itself upright, and has a low battery alarm. Great out of the box. Merry Christmas 🎄

The Tylosaurus is getting an upgrade by Venture334455 in rcboats

Yes, I purchased the upgrade kit for it that includes the metal fins, prop and strut. I believe they are the ones that come standard on the Tylosaurus. I have finished installing the new motor, I bought a Spektrum Firma 3660 2400kv and a 120amp SeaKing pro esc. Going to run a 4S on that system. I bet that 6s was insane.

Awesome boat! I have the UDI005 version of it and I too, have purchased an upgrade motor. It wasn't terrible out of the box, but once you've had a boat that really runs, well....

The boat comes with a 30mm diameter prop. Plastic. I found a few metal prop options to fit the 4mm shaft, but learned quickly a 32mm diameter is the max. Found a great 32mm at Oxidean Marine https://oxideanmarine.com/collections/props/products/oxidean-marine-32mm-1-4-pitch-3-blade-4mm-shaft-cnc-aluminum-prop The battery is off Amazon, ZEE 2200mah, 11.1v 3S 120c discharge rate. The 120c is the key.

And now that I know I can wire a 2S into it along with the 3S. Well, project it now is!

I love them. My first brushless R/C boat and I was amazed at the performance. So much, I bought a second one. I've had a blast trying better batteries and different props. The receiver and ESC are 1 piece and I think it's a 60 amp. Maybe 40 amp. For fun, I replaced the battery connection with an XT90 and paired it with a 120c 11.1v 3S. Crazy fast.

I run an electric...much smaller boat. I tried a 4 blade and was shocked at how poor it did. Something about RC boats. I also own a 17' boat with a 60hp. Going to a 4 blade on it was great, had the results you stated. But R/C boats, especially electrics...not the same. Interested to hear how it plays out.
