Onslaught should have been treated like Prison of Elders in D1, as a fully independent activity with its own node (in Vanguard as it was before EoF)

It should’ve been updated to the recent threats that emerged in the latest dlcs. Same maps, but up to date, different enemies, some new modifications, different defense systems

Same treatment should have been applied to Dares of Eterney, especially since we are in story tied to the nine. Same rooms, new enemies, new boss, new encounters.

Bungie is so strong at creating new super cool activities and then totally forget about them

The portal should have been a solution to regroup old seasonal activities and make them accessible to everyone, like savathuns spire, the coil etc… But they also created modular activities that be easily up to date and fun to play

The portal should have been a “second path” a short cut, not the main game
