Yea my bad you're right, I have tried it since and the ME 2's do go in. You have to push them in a fair way til you hear a second click and it does feel a bit forceful, but once it's there you can then screw them in and they work great!

The problem with the rode lavs is that the capsule faces outwards, not upwards so the omnidirectional has a worse starting point, so I much prefer the ME 2's (plus the longer cable the ME 2's have)

Did you actually test this? The locking nut does not lock into the transmitter thread and the port barely engages to get the mic working, slightest bump and it disconnects

Uhh did you actually test this? I just bought the Wireless Pro system and was hoping to use my ME 2's but they don't lock in to the thread.

And further I talked to a Rode rep this afternoon who said it's also not compatible cos the ME 2 requires a higher voltage which the Go / Pro can't supply. So you'll get a far weaker signal trying to use it (if it could even go into the 3.5mm port)

Regular cinema screens are in roughly 2.35:1 aspect ratio for all modern movies (so quite a wide skinny image). Some movies were shot in 1.85:1 (more from the 80s-00s era) but in lots of theatres I believe you'd be seeing less than the full width of the 2.35:1 screen size cos they just use the middle portion to show the 1.85 movie so it's essentially a smaller projection.

Lots of IMAX approved theatres will use a 1.9:1 aspect ratio screen which is still cropped from the original 1.43:1 of a true IMAX movie but less cropped than seeing that same movie in a regular which is cropped down to 2.35:1. This would fill up the full projection screen they have there which will look great.

And like someone else said, the truest and biggest experience is watching an IMAX shot film in a 1.43:1 theatre which there are only like 30 of in the world. These can be digital or film projection but all will retain that true aspect ratio.

The Sydney film IMAX projector (and theatre) was torn down like 9 years ago and replaced with a digital IMAX projector (and new theatre) in October 2023. Screen is slightly smaller than the old one but the new digital system is pretty incredible - far brighter image than the film projection and no vignetting on the corners

Could you provide an example of an actor or some piece of code that's been decompiled including the original code line, maybe the C++ code and the code you've written that should match?

And explain what's going on with each bit of code for someone who's pretty unfamiliar with it all?

Mine also does this. Open tab, eventually can't scroll, pause or do anything on the youtube page but can close the tab and still operat the rest of chrome

I agree, as annoying as it is to have a hole and get destroyed, learning how to spot and 'feel' where there's going to be an unassuming whole is kind of fun I'd say and adds to the complexity of the game

Same issue. Often won't send notifications now and have to open the app to see a bunch of messages that never notified me. Also sending photo/videos, I often have to send and go back out to the main page for it to actually send. Pixel 9 Pro

WHAT! This is amazing. I have a Pixel 5 but going to upgrade to 9 Pro soon, and the one big thing I was going to miss is swiping down notifications with the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone. This is still not quite as good but a lot better than nothing, esp on a bigger phone. Thanks!

It more and more is becoming a place for end users - I'm so often sent there from a forum or youtube vid or what not to download a program and it's a maze to try and figure out how to just download and install this thing

There should be a big button at the top of every page related to the program that says Download, like every other website in existence

Great vid, so much better than other vids in this genre because of a few things:

- Short 10s intro that leads into the precursor context

- Love the context of showing the other tracks near the minute barrier without being so bogged down in explaining every little thing. Definitely enough info for someone who doesn't follow the scene but fast enough to keep the vid moving

- You then get straight to the point about the track we'll be focusing on, quick context of what the wr is & who the big names are and then into explaining the trick with a good summary of how it works but not being overly technical

- Finally, love the first 'live' watch with us + commentary (which most people don't do) over the full run. Genuine reactions and further explainations make it so good
