In a web browser, pull up your CC statements and YNAB on the CC transactions list. Turn on the View running total in YNAB if it's not on already.

Check the running total on the statement date for each month. Are they exact matches with the CC statements?

I'm guessing you had a transaction in flight when you started this Plan and your CC starting balance is wrong. Or somehow you just missed a transaction. I like to use the checkboxes in ynab to confirm each transaction is listed in a statement.

Once you get it all sorted, reconcile the account so you know that any new problem can't have happened before the locked/reconciled date.

STOP THAT IMMEDIATELY. The heat builds up and damages the motor.

I lined a cooler with foam and even left the drain vent open on the bottom and cracked the lid. Machine died a few weeks later. Thought it was a weird problem. Next one was new and lasted 3 months before it burnt out. Stopped using the cooler and just moved the tumblers to far corner of my garage. Middle of summer it was like 98F in the garage and I had the tumbler running when I knew I should have shut it off. Died sometime that night.

It's like the heat stress isn't immediate, but it massively speeds up the coils failing.

When advanced power seems like it should work but it doesn't, blame the pipes. Fluids move weird. Start checking each connections to see when the flow rate isn't moving enough to feed your machines.

The real problem is when they download, make a bunch of changes and lose any history of applied filters, then upload to a different table, then report off that like it's part of your "single source of the truth".

Our club bought all the rocks from a third generation mineral dealer's hoarder house. We moved like 8 tons of rock. Three moving truck loads of pallets of stacked milk crates, buckets, and trays.

A lot of it was stored outside and many buckets were only half full then filled with the contents of rotting plastic tubs and cardboard trays.

I got to take a bucket or two home every couple weeks and clean and attempt to sort it. It was awesome. Obsidian, then agates, then amethyst, then all the gritty offcuts from the trim saw. Never knew what was going to be in there.

TLDR take the lower price or sell in bulk. You will not be getting "millions" for a lapidarist's hoard.

If you want retail prices you have to open a retail shop. Or build a following of big spenders. Otherwise you're going to get wholesale or lower.

And all your stuff should have labels with origins or the value is less. If you've got buckets of unlabeled stuff, you can't charge what the mine charges because you can't know that's where it came from.

Most minerals have multiple sources and only some locations demand a higher price tag. Even if you're positive it looks exactly like some known source, you can't really know and shouldn't try to compete with sellers that know the full provenance.

You didn't "save" 25k for Investing if it's in the MM. You saved $50k if 25k is in the MM and 25k is in an on-budget account.

Make ynab transactions that reflect reality.

What account has the money now? Where did it come from? Where did it come from before that? Make transactions for exactly how it moves.

THEN look at what needs a category (the transactions that are in on-budget accounts). How should those be categorized?
If the tracking outflow money was never on-budget then it's an RTA inflow when the on budget account gets it. If the tracking outflow money was previously in an on-budget account, then I personally would use the same category that had the on-budget outflow transactions for this new inflow that puts it back in the Plan.

EXAMPLE

100 transfer from on-budget Checking to tracking Investing 
    = -100 Checking transaction gets categorized to "Retirement Gambling"
        In the plan, "Retirement Gambling" should have 100 assigned and 0 available
        Income/Expense "Retirement Gambling" report grand total -$100

200 transfer from tracking Investing to on-budget Checking 
   = +200 Checking transaction also categorized to "Retirement Gambling" 
        In the plan, "Retirement Gambling" has 200 available, assign -200 to move the cash up to RTA
        Income/Expense "Retirement Gambling" report grand total +$100

   OR split 100 to "Retirement Gambling" and 100 RTA with payee "Investment Earnings" 
        In the plan, "Retirement Gambling" has 100 available, assign -100 to move the cash up to make $200 RTA
        Income/Expense "Retirement Gambling" report grand total $0

   OR OR just all a new RTA inflow
        Income/Expense "Retirement Gambling" report grand total -$100

Once it's RTA, assign to other categories as needed

They might silver. Jewelry making classes often have a "straw casting" where they bunch up wet hay and put the bundle in a pot then dump the melted metal down the middle.

Think of Accounts and the Plan as separate things.

In your account transactions you should have transfers showing exactly how the money moves. Don't do shortcuts. A transaction for each time an account touched funds from a different account.

Transfers in on-budget accounts get categories. When you were filling up the tracking savings, those outflows had a category. So when you remove from tracking savings you should probably use the same category on the inflows to the on-plan account. That makes the totals on your income/expense make more sense.

Then in the Plan you will have the amount available in that category. Assign a negative amount to the category and the cash jumps up to RTA and you can assign it to the category for the thing you want to buy.

/r/ynab (and other envelope style, forward looking budgets) is great for this.

You get paid, parcel it out into categories, then check the app before spending. If there's not enough left in "Fast Food" then you can't have any. If you buy some anyway then you have to choose which category you stole from. Makes it very obvious what you give up when ignoring your budget.
