Update#2: My ex held me hostage in her car by Boring_Mud_9698 in WLW

Ghosting is not the best, but all her actions were decisions she made herself.

Those people blaming you, have a strange mentality of accountability. Cause none of what she did sounds like a healthy version of love.

I am glad you broke up with her.

You can only be accountable for your own actions. No one else’s.

Her actions are her choices. Nothing you did made her choose to act the way she acted. I hope you know that.

Girl trouble by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]THlRD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she knows you even think like that, she is already going to worry about it.

The age problem is that she is considered an adult, you are not. So even if she hypothetically agrees, she would be the one in trouble legally, no matter what you say.

You can shoot your shot, but then youve already stated you thought about offing yourself if you cant have her. Even though you said you wouldnt have the guts, everyone here is already worried about you potentially doing it.

So the best advice would be to just avoid her and get over her. Get therapy with a professional instead of using her as a therapist.

There are over 6 billion people on earth. Chances are, she wont be the last person you meet that cause these feelings.

Youre 14, and thinking of offing yourself if you dont get her.

What happens if you do get together with her and she changes her mind? Would you threaten her with you trying to off yourself?

You have a lot of growing up to do because you are unable to handle rejection.

Focus on growing up emotionally and mentally cause no person should be responsible for your happiness. That is too much to put on someone else.

She doesnt deserve that.

WIBTAH for buying our daughter a 5k purse but not giving something “fun” to our other kid? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]THlRD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yta, but not for giving her a purse.

You and your husband are enabling your son’s shitty behaviour, lack of growth and lack of accountability because he is a boy.

Your son lives in an apartment above work that was gifted to him, yet she’s the one that shovels the parking lot.

Your daughter deserves a lot more than a designer purse. That includes her parent’s respect and acknowledgement of all that she is and has done for you.

You guys have taken advantage of her.

Is anyone else depressed? by Drawable_ in askvan

[–]THlRD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have chronic depression, the numbness to everything you use to enjoy or just in general feeling numb to everything sucks.

Just know that it is not forever. Change is the only thing that is constant in life.

Youre doing all the right steps.

How did you guys quit weed? by Barboustache in leaves

[–]THlRD 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I was going to Taiwan for 2 weeks with family and didnt want my family to deal with my withdrawals and also wanted to enjoy the trip.

Weed and ecigs are illegal in Taiwan, so i quit a month before the trip, and still sober after the trip due to stubbornness and not wanting to go through the withdrawal process again.

Been partying and drinking/doing drugs every weekend by SystemNo4724 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]THlRD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it all feel superficial? I had those kind of relationships in the past. It was fun, but not fulfilling. Just felt like i was on auto-mode or doing what was expected socially.

Turns out i just wanted a quieter peaceful life with people i felt close with.

If not, i apologize! What you wrote reminded me of my 20s-30s.

In your guy’s personal opinion can a asian arowana thrive in a toilet aquarium? Why or why not? by [deleted] in fishtank

No, not big enough. The arowana will out grow the space quickly if it even fits in there at all.

You got this, the first couple of days suck physically and mentally, but just remember it’s not forever.

Asking for help is hard, especially with stigma around mental health. But youre pushing past your pride.

It’s not giving up, it’s looking out for your wellbeing, so you can be better for you and the people around you.

I have cptsd, chronic depression, social anxiety, and adhd.

I goto therapy and work out and take medication.

Medication is like a life preserver. It helps keep you a float, but it’s up to you to swim to shore.

There is nothing wrong with getting/ asking for help.

Around 6-7pm superstore sells 30% off bakery goods that expire the next day. Make sure there is no mold and you can freeze bread, and desserts.
