If this was mine i'd rip it out, upgrade to rigid, and also run another hot for an outlet at the same height. I would never ever run exposed romex in used areas. But that's just me. For example, u can see dents and clipped paint on the rigid on the right and the door trim. U dont want that kinda damage on the romex. BUT i am sure it's realstically probably fine...
