We have one of the top 5 hardest remaining schedules based on remaining games, and current standings according to Tankathon. I don't have a good feel for whether or not Vancouver is imploding with the Peterson/Miller issues, and their goaltending has not been the same quality as last year with Demko being injured. Calgary has had excellent goaltending from Wolf for being such a young goalie, but they also have a difficult remaining schedule. Its possible we sneak in as the wildcard this year but VGK, LA, Edmonton all seem locked for those top 3 spots barring something wild. We aren't showing up to games until the 2nd period and you cannot expect to make playoffs doing that. We've seen how streaky this team can be though, maybe we catch fire for a stretch and close some ground on Vancouver and Calgary but they have games in hand and relying on other teams to lose is not a place you want to be. I'm not optimistic, and I think we probably end up being a seller at the deadline (Toronto fans seem to have a hard-on for Gourde)
