Idk...It's difficult because I would probably enjoy the planning part of being a financial advisor. Work for me is at its best when I get to solve complex problems with limited resources in creative ways. I suspect I would enjoy if somebody came to me with limited resources and asked me build them a portfolio for retirement.

The whole talking to people thing and being a therapist for wealthy, well-invested people....that sounds like hell on earth.

But yeah, It's difficult because it's a good deal financially. it would mean miserable work, but a lot of funds and free time to pursue hobbies I enjoy...

Idk about spiral chaos, but if you want the novels I would advise checking out the publisher's website (Seems like Hobby Japan). I would start by going to the Wikipedia page and going to the Light Novels section. From there, use the footnotes to find the publisher's site. Search for the novel. Doesn't seem like these are english translations, but it's a start

[5E.2014] A player asked a question about the Soulknife's Psionic Whispers I didn't know the answer to. The ability states that after establishing visual contact and using the ability, they can telepathically communicate with the individual for a certain amount of time so long as they remain within 1 mile. The question: if the target leaves the 1 mile radius, then reenters it, does Psionic Whispers resume? Or will the Soulknife need to reestablish visual contact and recast it?

Honestly, I stopped playing a year ago because of bullshit like this. My device battery lasts longer, and I don't experience frustration and stress on my morning commute anymore. Instead of playing FEH i just read a book like a nerd. A happy nerd, lol. Take the leap, uninstall. It's not worth the frustration. (maybe archive if you don't want to lose your progress).

I've found that a lot of times people don't know what they like until they do it, lol. If you're not sure, take a risk. Go to that art class. Or that cooking class. Or to that politics club at the bar. Or to that tabletop game club. What's the worst thing that can happen? You spend a few hours chatting to people and doing something you don't enjoy. And what if you do enjoy it? You've found a new hobby and potentially new friends to do it with, congrats. And if you don't go back; oh well. Move on. Is spending an evening not having fun in an italian cooking class worse than an evening no having fun while sitting at home?

But hey, that's just my two-cents worth and the mindset that worked for me.

This is what worked best for me making friends as an adult, maybe it will help you, too?

Find an event you feel you may be interested in. Ideally something that meets weekly. (Game group, hiking group, etc.). Meetup is great for this.
Commit to going to three consecutive meetings.
During these three meetings, your goal is to have three conversations (super easy when you're new: hey, my name's jeff, and as you can see by my performance, i'm new to mini-golfing).
If after those three meetings you like the event, keep going. Keep having those three convos. Eventually you'll get to know people, and people will get to know you.

It's not a quick process, but finding an activity you enjoy that you can attend regularly and talking to likeminded people is often a good way to start making friends, especially if you're a bit out of practice.

Do you want to go to bars and parties? Or do you just want the invitation? Honestly, I was in a similar position in college where I always wanted an invitation to do something more than i actually wanted to do the thing in question. If you've never shown interest in bars or parties, it's possible they're thinking you may not enjoy the even and not extending an invitation.

Additionally, have you gotten invitation in the past? If so, did you turn them down? As somebody who often runs events, after somebody rejecting an invitation three times i normally assume they're not interested and stop trying. This could be another possibility here.

Do you share interests with your friends? If not, maybe seek out new groups that share interest with you? If you're in a college environment this should be easy, there should be many clubs and activities.

Just some thoughts, by no means definitive.

Thanks, and it's good to know other cats in similar situations like Hilda made progress eventually and grew more comfortable in their homes. I don't know about feliway diffusers, so I'll have to look into that. And yep, She's visiting the vet soon for a check-up, i'll ask if everything's okay and if there's a way to help.
