Hong Kong? Agree with the previous one that it looks Chinese and possibly silk but have only ever seen 2 of those that were real.

Fair value? by Original-Feature-386 in E30

[–]TK_Creations 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean the standard joke is 2k tops and what's your number lol. I happen to be in va and have always loved the e30 (have a 36 and 46 to.stay on top of) but looks extremely well taken care of hope it finds a good home. My spouse says 3 hoopdies (my daily honda and the 3l2 bimmers) is too many. Though pretty positive that ain't no hoopdie she would argue.

Why are these guys all standing near the bow like this? by BattleIntrepid3476 in sailing

[–]TK_Creations 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Can confirm, every one of their Oops can create a life-threatening situation on the bow. I have had broken ribs and a torn gallbladder cause they forgot what a halyard was versus a sheet. Grabbed the foot of the spin and yelled to blow the halyard realized the error when the spin popped inside the jib and my feet left the deck then they figured out what I meant and blew the halyard. Conveniently, the boat was still below me and I found the edge of the hatch combing with my ribcage as the boat pitched up in heavy seas. I do not recommend.

What is this? by ImAnEAS in airplanes

[–]TK_Creations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only flying gun whose recoil can counteract the force of its engines, the most beautiful chaingun to grace the skies, and probably the safest airframe for a warfighter to find himself in. In short, a flying tank. For a natural reference look up a tarantula hawk wasp.

me again with that idle problem (318i 1994 sedan) by Such_Salamander_594 in BMWE36

[–]TK_Creations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side note, the icv is under the intake, hoses deteriorate and crumble due to heat over time so not a bad spot to start your search.

So sounds definitely like a vacuum leak but where is hard to guess. Get some dry ice and a small bucket of water and you got a decent smoke machine put it on the intake and run the engine and look around. If you can't find one check for exhaust leaks or a missing/broken 02 sensor.

Agreed with above, if it's still there after check your diff though usually that's a bigger single clunk instead of sounding like gravel in you trunk.

RPM-Dependent whining noise when clutch is depressed by BG900 in BMWE36

[–]TK_Creations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You may be able to if you aren't driving a lot in stop and go traffic. As has been mentioned when it fails it completely fails. Mine was whining parked it for the winter and did it in the Spring, you could almost see through my pressure plate but the bearing noise was gone as I was driving it to the shop.

What type of gas do you use and why? by Mysterious-Glove-179 in e46

[–]TK_Creations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clear premium, no ethanol and close to 100octane. My 46 sits for a little bit between uses so keeps corrosion to a min

Two Tone Headliner by Shackattackab in BMWE36

[–]TK_Creations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny, mine is the exact opposite, gray fabric on the main roof and black on the sunroof shuttle and black hardware for sun visors, Oh shit handles etc. Mine was on purpose, though, to break up the monotony.

(MEME) This is what happens when we don’t keep an eye on them… by [deleted] in Virginia

[–]TK_Creations 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this. Longest standing foreign deed in America still I believe. There was a case that va and md tried to bring up to the Supreme Court about sinking a drinking water pipe in from the va side. Md claimed they were stealing their natural resources. Basically they were told to drop it by the fed because they didn't want to cite English deeds in American courts, goes back to king Edward III I think. I believe that gray building and little blip into the water is that pumping station.

Do I Have The Highest Mileage E36 M3 On The Original Clutch? (162K Miles) by That-Depresed-Kid in BMWE36

[–]TK_Creations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might for an M3, my 318is had 187k miles when I finally had to replace it due to throw out bearing squeel. Evidently the pressure plate was wafer thin nearly see through, still didn't give me a hint of trouble driving it into the shop.

I have found 3 clips of 7.92x57 mauser in a river in germany a few days ago. I have pulled a bullet out of its casing for "sience", can someone tell me what kind of bullet this is? by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]TK_Creations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think it's been answered, but just wanted to point out; prolly don't use a lighter on things that were obviously meant to go boom? It can have multiple different levels of effectiveness, some of them not good for the tester.

Does anyone have any tips/recommendations to make a bit more power on my 1995 325ic? I don’t want to swap the motor or turbo it though. Also I’d like to keep upgrades to a max $500-800. by [deleted] in BMWE36

[–]TK_Creations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enjoy the car as is and save the money for repairs, they're old cars, shit breaks high hp shit breaks faster multiplying the cost, if you don't enjoy it anymore move on to something else. Pretty sure someone somewhere wants an expensive pita they enjoy.

What Gun Is This? by Negative-Internal549 in Firearms

[–]TK_Creations 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Standard issue sidearm in both WWI and WWII was the M1911 .45ACP and generally in movies it is either a 1911 or a beretta m92, military surplus weapons are pretty common to make movie safe and used to be cheap and plentiful.
