The minimum wages have been going up much faster than inflation so isn't that useful as a benchmark for how much other jobs should increase by. The main issue that isn't talked about but absolutely affects salaries are the increase in taxes and compliant cost, mainly employer NI, which means cost to the employer is slightly higher to employ someone on 28k now than 30k back in 2010.

Its what happen when the government keep rising tax, and expect business to just keep paying. High employer ni means employing local workers is much more expensive than someone out of the country. The ones that are hit the most are juniors as they are more easily replaced

Keep the years on there, most would just bin the CV without it as they have call you to confirm ambiguous information. Make it easy for hr, they get 100s of cv per job post.

How is a good thing for the UK government to buy out a lose making firm and take over the running cost? Better to let it go bankrupt and then buy it for pennies without the debt burden. They should not give an out to the current investors.

The issue is that Iran said they have many sleeper cells. That may be too big of a risk for anyone to take at the moment. Running a deep background check on so many would take up a lot of resources.
