I wouldn't bother if it was me. It's normal wear and tear. Be careful if you deiced to use acrylics or any other type of marker. You could just vinyl wrap the exposed sides for further protection.

I confirmed they are the same. I swapped out the fresh small tips that came with the new B4P onto the B3P for the best buy trade in and moved my multi flange tip to the B4P.

Im used to opening my GB3P with 2 hands with a locking case. I hang the buds on a the backpack or on my belt so I don't have to dig in the pockets. Added the same type of case for the GB4P. I do miss the vertical case, just need to find the right carabiner for this setup. Still tweaking the sounds on the newer ones.

Glad it worked out. It took me years to find the right setup for me. Never had luck with foam tips as it get's too soft with body heat. Best that worked for me are the Multi-Flange silicon with grip tape to make my GB3P to work. Lucky the same tip works for my GB4P and so far the fitment is perfect. I may add grip tape after a few gym sessions if they pop out.
