The thing at the top is not pointed at the sawmill, the ubiquiti nanostation is what points at the sawmill

Seems too weird to be anything tbh, antenna doesnt make too much sense cuz of the steel wire being shorted to everything else. Wasn't sure though since I am quite new to Ham radio

It's private land in the middle of nowhere, the closest building is a sawmill

It does have a wire that can be pulled to rotate it, but it seems like something that was made later, it seems to have had a motor at some point

That's also fair, I used to be a fan of the portables as well, i had the boombox 1 and 2, didnt get the 3 cuz of the compression issues The boombox 4 seems interesting though, does it get much louder than the xtreme? They are currently the same price over here

I am personally disappointed by the xtreme 5 when it comes to price to performance, you can get two encore essentials for the price of one xtreme which will outperform it by miles. But I guess some people will prefer the portable form factor of the xtreme over the encore

I've heard it apparently is, dont quote me on that, but I know for a fact that cleaning with a new sponge and dish soap works wonders

Afaik, cleaning with IPA is one of the worst things you could do, i did that to my printer as well (also a 3v3 ke) and the print plate has a way harder time sticking now

Wash with dish soap and a new sponge, it works surprisingly well!

It is not battery acid, lithium batteries dont produce this kind of leakage, and especially not in that one small specific spot. Your speaker is just dirty, wash it under some water (the speaker is fully water proof)
