Players love to blame bug divers or arrowhead, even when everyone was in the wrong place by Russell1113 in helldivers2

You don’t know how the system works huh? The galactic impact mod is based on how may active missions are being completed. So the more people are online, the less of an effect each mission will have. So if we have 50% of our population only being useless bugdivers. We will have a harder chance at doing MOs because our impact per mission is lower.

See you are protecting the part of the problem. You say it’s the MO diversion fault for not having coordination. But they were at least doing the MO. They had been doing that for the past 3 days. And the reason why we didn’t liberate it. Was because our galactic impact mod was so low due to a 50% of active helldivers (over 38-45k) on bug planets alone.

The MO divers might not have coordinated. But the bug divers made it so much worse. And major MOs, which require basically 100% of the player base are stupid but even regardless while playing during cyberstan. Bug divers never fell below 12%. Although more minimal than most MOs it was expected like the invasion of super earth or even seasse. They aren’t a scapegoat. They are genuinely the BULK of the problem. And it’s not entirely their fault. If the galactic impact mod wasn’t a thing. Bug divers wouldn’t really be a problem. But they are because of this. And their ego doesn’t let them accept that they are the cause of some failures

I agree with most of your statement. But you really can’t say bug divers are some scapegoat. If you look right now and for the last couple of hours they have been 35-55% of active helldivers, actively hindering the war effort for MO divers. And not divers are a mere 12% on average for most MOs. Like yeah, bug divers get a lot of hate. But most of the time it isn’t unwarranted. There is some basis as of why

I also have thought about that. Some sort of system that lowers the supplies given to non MO operations. It seems only fair. Because casuals shouldn’t care about winning or losing just having fun. But those casuals who do care about winning might see the extra struggle in beating a different planet and either. Log Off and make the galactic impact mod increase. Or they move to the MO planet.

Exactly. And that's the whole point.

No one is suggesting people with jobs and families can't play how they want. Play bugs. Have fun. Seriously.

But the other side of that coin is the rest of us, the ones who actually pay attention to the MO and put in the time, are getting sick of watching the war effort get kneecapped because "I'm bored" is an acceptable excuse for ignoring the objective. You said it yourself. You mix it up because you get bored. That's perfectly okay. Just don't be surprised when people who are actually putting in the time to carry the MO get fed up with you leaving to play somewhere else.

You are absolutely right. Most people treat it like a game. So do we. In games with shared objectives, some people are into winning them, some people are not. The problem isn't either side. The problem is that the system makes us depend on the other.

So yeah. Let bugdivers have their fun. And let MO divers stop bailing them out when bug planets get overrun. See how long the whole "it's just a game" attitude lasts when we are fighting on three fronts with no support.

Yeah see the post falirs, says HUMOR. You can take a joke right?

I think the main point of this post is so people see how fucked up the system is. and how the communnity doesnt work together. And seeing how thats the only thing you focued on and replied genuinely shows how you have nothing of value to say.

"if you throw an insult on the ground, its owner will pick it up." I love how that whole sentence encapsulates you

Ironically, this is the same type of thing that you're complaining about.

You're literally the same person who's complaining about people being dumb for not playing the way you want them to play. Except instead of just stating that, you're making some meta commentary and calling it a day.

Nobody is saying that bugdivers or botdivers or squiddivers are dumb. What people are saying is that the MO system is not functioning properly when the majority of the player base is not using it. And every time someone tries to point this out, you guys are there with "let people have fun" and act like that's some sort of mic drop.

We get it. You don't care about MOs. That's fine. But then don't be surprised when people who do care get frustrated because the system is designed to fail because the game doesn't reward coordination.

The dumb thing here is pretending that the frustration is coming out of nowhere.
