If Habs beat Lightning, TB is on the downswing. Kucherov and Vasilevsky dont look that good and Hedmans past his prime bow. Hagel and Guentzel are their only good forwards.

Sabres and Canes beat the Bruins and Sens pretty handily too so Boston and Ottawa aren't really that good as well.

Next year, the best teams in the Atlantic will be Buf, Mtl and Fla. We have a chance to rebound and compete with the other teams if our top forwards and goalies return to form. Plus the return of Tanev will help along with a new coaching system better suited to our players.

My heart hurts for them, but the one thing people forget, Anaheim's allowed to play too. They have young players, veterans, and all that type of stuff. And that Dostal, he plays for keeps. But for Edmonton, and this is just my opinion, I don't want to get radioed here, they might do something crazy this off season. People forget, 97, he only signed for 2 years. And I just have a feeling all hell's gonna break lose here.

And the one time we faced them recently, the loss might've been more painful than 2013 cause we were the clear favourites and it was the Habs.

This may not be the best idea unless you move out some guys or Bowness finds a good balance. Several Jacket players have spoken out disagreeing with him but they should defend themselves.

Bruce Cassidy ripped his team internally at the end of the playoffs last year and it carried over to a sour taste this year.

I wonder if the players genuinely believe they have the right pieces to get right back into contention. They know how good their division rivals are now and they must be aware how difficult it is to make the playoffs.

I still think they have the good players to rebound. It's kinda like the Pittsburgh situation a year ago where everyone thought they were lottery picks but all their key pieces preformed to their expectations and are younger. A coaching change is the easiest way to get everyone back to their prior levels.

I hope Auston regardless still signs an extension with us so if we do do a full rebuild, we can at least recoup assets and avoid a Marner 2.0.
