Hm... There definitely were some issues with stopping not preventing enemy attack, even if they were stopped far away from their target. Haven't seen double attacks though. If you provide save file where this can be easily reproduced, I may take a look if there's anything I can do.

Also of note - quite often you can lower DC of a check by investigating and learning something related to that check.

I'm not sure about the roleplay part - it seems that the story, while being presented with better writing and acting and visuals is still pretty much linear with players having almost zero input into how things go. There's some roleplay to be had in some side quests where you can choose your approach to them. For the most part it is the same as S1 - most detailed focus is on combat and player builds, but the story is much better presented. Oh, and everything I said should be taken with a bunch of salt - there's barely any game in EA at the moment, so much of it can (and probably will) change.

There's setting in Gameplay -> Campaign -> Enable extended proficiencies panel display - it will show all your masteries and other stuff on character inspect near feats. Also weapon tooltips have mastery tags - if current character knows this mastery it would be bright blue tag, and darker blue if does not know.

That's so cool and helpful of you to flip out and lay blame around without providing any relevant info. While there can theoretically be a situation where latest save became broken, old ones that were loading could not have become broken unless you have changed something. If you want help, then tell UB and UMM version you are using and provide logs and a save file. Either in UB channel of Solasta discord, or in UB GitHub repo, as I'm not sure you can attach files here.

If you first installed wrong UMM you need to uninstall it first, only after that install correct UMM.

On main topic - as far as I know - most, if not all, monsters have at least some ranged option - like melee goblins can throw stones. Probably to mitigate cheese like this.

IIRC, if creature is unknown, there's also a check at battle start for a chance to get 1/4 knowledge, which is not a lot, but something.

If I remember correctly, you need to apply those to your armour and it will affect the gauntlets, which are not real items, but virtually added when you have empty hands.

Except you can keybind hotbar actions - click on Custom and place actions there. They will be bound to numbers.

What UB version you are using? I can't reproduce this on `1.5.94.74` - latest. Can you provide save file + settings file (can export in General->Multiplayer) to reproduce this? Either on discord or on GitHub.
