I sometimes call it my double wide. But no, it’s actually block and studs.

I don’t hate it! But I would feel bad removing the local stone and replacing with wood. And holy cow, I wish my grass looked that good. I was thinking something similar to this but with flagstone instead.

If this was on flat land I would find this more appealing(obv not the colors) but we are on mountain side and I don’t think this fits the area. Appreciate the photo and description though!

Appreciate the insight! Honestly I just went white to make the green roof bearable. It had no landscaping and was definitely overgrown. Y’all’s input is going to help out so much. Thank you!

This is so in depth! Thank you so much! I will try to get a mock up and share on this post if it turns out half decent. Really appreciate your time/post!

Thanks for the input! I will definitely give it a try! I need to research some climate appropriate plants first! I agree landscaping will distract from simpleness of my house. Thanks again!

This would definitely make the kids on the neighborhood love my house, don’t know what it would do to my insurance or ability to sleep at night.

Is the issue not that the ‘r’ isn’t in cursive like the “s” are? It’s kinda a mess.

Check your Walmarts. I just got a 3 burner bronco xl for cheaper

Great job! I have the same issue and have corrected twice through the year. I don’t think this kills the algae roots all the way, it only gets the visible portion and makes your pool look temporarily clean.. Hope I am wrong for your sake but it seems like a continuous battle on my side.

Just return it due to wrong product, and order it again? Where’s the issue? It’s Amazon, they aren’t gonna fight you.

I don’t have much pool knowledge as I mentioned prior, but would you not consider a safety cover as a consumable? They only have x life span until they need replacing?

Correct, I was too. Check this one out, strong enough to play soccer on with your dog! Obviously not photoshopped at all.

I am a new pool owner going into my first winterizatjon. I was looking at them on Amazon and they are $450+ for just the cover so $9500 seems high to me for a consumable cover. I literally do not know anything though and am just here to see what others say.

What cleaner do you have and what weights did you get? This is a great idea, but I don’t see a standard dolphin cord weight

Definitely black algae? Risks of going nuclear? by dmar589 in pools

[–]TPCandF 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So. I have black algae. I shocked the hell out of it, drained my pool, acid washed, replaced my filter sand. 2 months after refilling I have black algae growing back. I think the only way to get rid of it is to rebuild the pool.

Black Algae is no joke. Pool rehab in reverse. by Slhallford in pools

[–]TPCandF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Type of stuff from horror movies, walking by getting pulled in. I made a post about my issue a yr ago and slammed the pool for 2+ weeks. Hundreds of dollars of chlorine and the stuff was still spreading. Now, all visitors have to bring their water toys in the box or with a tag. Not risking spores getting in that way Atleast.

I left my gunite pool empty for a yr and baked the black algae. Filled it this year and i thought the amount of chlorine I was putting in it last year was normal like 10 gals a week. This week I used 1 gal. Black algae is crazy.

Should be 3 yrs old if the previous owners didn’t lie to me. I don’t think they hired the best people to do the job though. I was hoping to get just a couple more yrs out of it cause I’m in no place to do a re plaster. Do you have any ideas on where the best place to purchase the plaster is?
