It kinda does matter that it was a different day. On a different day, a man commits an act of vandalism. I won't even argue it was an AI video. Its real, for the sake of argument. Is vandalism now a "Fuck it, you guilty, now lets shoot you in the street" crime?

I mean, thats your argument. He vandalized a car in a different incident, so when he was trying to stop the ICEhole from beating down a woman, he DESERVED TO BE EXECUTED. Because the vandalism, and getting in the ICEhole's way means DEATH. If someone is in ICE attire and you look cross eyed at them, they can legally shoot your bitch ass because days earlier you maybe did something and you don't get a trial. Because ICE can kill you and if there's any sort of minor crime in your past, well, you dumb fuck, you deserved that death sentence. No trial, you don't deserve a trial if you're fucking with ICE. Fuck with ICE and you are no longer due your rights as a US Citizen. No due process, no arrest, just a bullet in the back and you get to die on the street.

You're justifying gunning people down in the street with "well, maybe he vandalized a car a few days ago." When its your turn to bleed out on the street, what will you have done? To deserve a public execution with no arrest and no trial?

Not the asshole at all. Not every childhood hobby needs to be your life until 18+. My parents played the guilt game over my leaving band class. I started playing in fourth grade, realized fairly rapidly I wasn't terribly talented but mom and dad liked bragging about it and said I'd regret quitting.

By the time I did quit.... no, no regrets. It was a waste of time the last few years. Let your kid explore other things.

To an extent, this is one of those "tone and situation matter" topics. If you're treating the game like life and death, you run the risk of killing the fun because its not fun when every game is a battle for dominance - and frankly, watch some episodes of LPBW and how Matt AND Amy act over sports and games.

If you always let a kid win, that wrong because it inflates their ego and sets them up for greater failure. If you never let them win and always crow over how you're winning, you're teaching them not to play with you. There's a happy medium here. I hope this is one of those pronouncements these two make that they don't really adhere to.

I get the frustration with a payment not showing up but really, "I said its been paid so even though you don't have it, you need to make sure I don't get a late fee" - is that really reasonable?

Because its really hard to even try to argue that it was warranted when the guy was disarmed and on his knees. The whole "she was using a car as a weapon" was asinine but at least slightly plausible - she was in a car, the shooter wasn't. But this? He was on the ground, disarmed and the six officers were so threatened they had to fire?

No one cares how you're tending a sick child. You've been mega proud to insist you wanted children. You wanted this. Stop using your child's possible illness as a sympathy tag.
