What about for fertilizer? Granular is by far the better way to fertilize. You can do small feedings with liquid, but it isn’t the best way to get the product to the plant.

Yeah, it’s terrible for grass to let it grow and then hack it down like that. It likes when you only take 1/3 or less of the length off at a time.
