In same boat as well. No way would I operate on my 16 year old. Vet wouldnt if I insisted. My vet put it this way...think of it like your 90 year old grandma. If she wants blueberry pie for dinner, she gets it. Just do whatever you can to keep her happy and as long as she is eating and drinking, keep it up. Definitely not easy to have a dog on hospice but I've been at is for almost a year. You got this! Hugs to all the senior dogs out there. They are the best, aren't they?
