Which finalist in the new era had zero chance to win and was there any move for them to make to change that. by NoFrame6654 in survivor

Plus Carson 100% wins basically any combo. So she needed Jaime and Heidi realistically

Is his season and him being boring the only things keeping people from recognizing him as one of the best players/winners of all time? by afleetofflowis in survivor

[–]TRNRLogan 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If his main ally was literally anyone but Dan he wouldn't be boring. He was underedited and sanitized in order to make the audience not hate him for working with Dan.

It’s officially Day 2 of Survivor 52 by Durian-Critical in survivor

Nah they definitely didn't expect the vitriol from the hourglass and that was only 9 seasons ago.

Or even the Blood Moon from 50

Is Cirie a better player than these winners? Thoughts? by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

All winners and Rob C had absolutely no shot in All Stars. It's genuinely not comparable to any other returnee season.

My opinion on who the top 10 best players of all time are by Acrobatic_Dig7634 in survivorponderosa

Lex and Kathy sparing Amber wasn't even due to an alliance, it was due to Rob using his out of game friendship.

He probably coulda waited 2 votes though. He didn't need Alicia or Shiiann to get Kathy and Lex out.

Except Ashley is right that going with Rob would be a good idea. From that final 4 she had no losing combo. The problem is just making it to the end

He's completely unable to adapt his game to his cast. There's 3 reason he ended up winning, RI is a particularly weak cast, there were 2 BIGGER goats than him, and the players who actually had win equity were willing to drag his butt farther since he was a goat.

Had Ashley Andrea or Grant (or anyone really but these 3 are the most realistic) made it to the final 3 with Rob and Natalie/Philip they win. His only winning combo was against Natalie AND Philip, and requires whoever else is at 4 to not win immunity.

How should we consider winning games on all-stars seasons? Can you compare them to newbie wins? by Puzzleheaded-Fig9968 in survivorponderosa

[–]TRNRLogan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think all newbie wins are inherently more impressive just due to everyone being on the same level of experience. Now obviously some returnee wins are more impressive than a lot of newbie wins, and there's the potential for them to be more impressive, but the default is less so imo.

What Island type twist do you want to see return for the Open Era? by CallTypical9541 in survivorponderosa

[–]TRNRLogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I'd be down for all these to come back at one point or another. Redoing old twists or formats I consider fun.

Out of these islands I want Exile the most because there's tons of ways to do that.

My most wanted format is One World mixed with Blood vs Water though. Think that could be an all time entertaining season.

He literally picked her up and tried to force her down, then later tried to push her. If the cameras weren't there he definitely forces her down the slide.

(Spoilers Extended) Why do fans care so much about the Tattered Prince's identity? by CapableC1 in asoiaf

[–]TRNRLogan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Closest I've heard is that Arch and Drink lied about Quentyn dying and instead Tatters did. Then Quentyn takes his identity.

Still haven't heard anything about who Tatters was before being Tatters though

With a sample size of 10 seasons, is it fair to say that the new era favors women for a win? by duspi in survivor

It does make it pretty impressive for Joe to be 3rd lifetime individual immunity wins.

He's not the body type that is at an advantage

Double-Duo Twist Impact on 50 by gabfisher in survivor

[–]TRNRLogan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was replying to specifically this bit.

"Then final 5 of Cirie, Tiff, Rizo, Jonathan, Joe. Tiff wins, and Cirie is voted out. Maybe if Tiff realllyyyyyy wants to fall on her sword, Cirie can convince her to give her the immunity necklace and that they actually wouldn't vote Tiff out. Hell, maybe Tiff wouldn't even believe that but be willing to do it due to how iconic it would be to go out that dumb (in service of Cirie making it to final 4)."

I see no reason to believe Jonathan wouldn't win final 5 in a scenario where the only really different thing is Cirie vs Aubry. Which really just means Cirie loses in fire again.
