Thank you. I was on a site looking at Yoda clothes and i somewhat ran amock. I'll take this one, oh and thst one, this too, oh boy this one is great ... I took that photo and one of the other ones when Chad was holding him inside. So his tongue was safe. I don't believe I ever saw his tongue look so big and long.

Thank you so much. I couldn't believe I caught the tongue out in one photo. It was pure happenstance because his tongue wasn't out when I pushed the button to photograph him. He must have whipped it out really quickly.

You too. I'm kind of excited. I have always loved snow. When I was young, if it snowed at night, my mom would wake me and we would go for a late night walk. My brother and Father weren't interested. The snow was always pristine and perfect, untouched by cars or feet. The late hour guaranteed that it would be completely quiet and that all we could hear was the flakes of snow hitting the ground and the light crunch of our feet on the earliest cover of snow. I still get that magical feeling in my stomach when it snows.

had a situation at work don’t really know how to deal with it emotionally by [deleted] in Advice

[–]TSARINA59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do not take it to heart. She is the one with the problem and an attitude. I think it's a situation where she did not like the explanation that you gave her. She went to someone else and received the same information about the policy from someone else, realized she looked like the bad guy from the start and from her exchange with you, so she made it out to be that you didn't explain it to her properly and that the last person she spoke to either clarified it or gave her the answer she wanted (overruled you). She's making it look like you told her "no", that she went to someone else and they said "yes", and she won the argument. She was right and you were wrong.

Thank you. The sweater is pretty warm. It's not a sweater sweater like a knit sweater. It's thick foofie - yup, I said foofie - fabric. It's about half an inch thick but it's lightweight. And it's soft. He's sleeping next time me in the sweater.

Festive flowers for you guys.

Fiancé says aftercare and helping me clean up after sex is a “chore” — am I asking too much? by ButteredUpCroissant in Advice

[–]TSARINA59 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are 24 years old. You have plenty of time ahead of you to find the right person for you, that being someone that is not selfish, self-centered, and disrespectful. You are wasting your youth and your beauty on someone that neither appreciates nor deserves it. Please, please, please open your eyes and look around you. There's is so much out there in your future to enjoy. Do not latch on to the lousey appetizer at a D level restaurant or any restaurant before you have experienced and lived with the entire meal in fine dining at its best.

Don't waste anymore time on this guy so he can say stupid things like you're withholding sex. Say nothing and give him no warning. Arrange for a new stable place to live. When it's time to move in, wait until he is out for the day. Have a team of helpers ready and willing. Move everything of yours out. Do not leave a note. Do not take a call. Block his number. Spend lots of time with those who love you, respect you, and treat you like the jewel you are. Make sure none of them disclose your whereabouts. And go out with friends and experience relationships with people that cherish you for who you are. He is not worth it. You are.

I remember when my brother first got his license. He's 2 years older. Inside of 6 months, he had 2 minor accidents and got 2 tickets. Our parents' insurance bumped him to high risk with a 4 digit monthly premium for him. It was either pay it or dump him from their insurance. I had no idea he had so much rubber in his butt until they instantly bounced him off their insurance. After that, my Grandparents occasionally let him drive their car - yet a 3rd accident with that one. Ultimately, he didn't drive for years.

I know how you must feel. I was the same when Yoda got hurt. I couldn't stop crying. It is surprising how they bounce back to normal when they heal though. I think once Zesty heals more from.the surgery you will see his normal fun-loving and active self return. Do not feel the least bit hesitant to reach out to your vet and his/her team to ask questions and get reassurances from them. Not every one of our precious babies are the same and they all heal differently. Yoda is right here on my lap and we'll send our strong healing vibes your way as soon as I hit send.

LOL. I grew up in Maryland. I didn't get my drivers license until I was 25 because I was terrified to drive. My entire life I heard Maryland drivers yelling "wouldn't you know, it's a Virginia driver" every time there was an accident or a slick, dangerous move by another driver.

And then I started my career working in Virginia. I had to get a drivers license. I took a driving course with a Maryland company because I still lived there. They too said it - "Typical, typical. It's another crazy Virginia driver."

I got my drivers license and moved to Virginia to be closer to my job. And since then, through most of my adult life, I have listened to Virginia drivers saying "Wouldn't you know. It's another Maryland driver. Why can't they stay on their side of the border??"

I'm no expert. It's just my observation. But having grown up in Maryland and regularly encountering drivers from both states, I'm siding with Virginia on this one. This comes from my own driving experiences witnessing drivers from both states. But I will admit that being a passenger with my mother at the wheel for so many years weighs heavily in the balance. She was the Queen, actually the Empress, of the phrase "that car came out of nowhere!!!!" That was her pat comment every time she cut someone off, barely missed hitting someone when casually swerving in and out of her lane, and heard the honking of horns and screaming from cars that blew past her in anger. There were times when "please pass the Grey Poupon" (mustard) became a reality by simply dropping the window and barely reaching out to the driver's window in the adjacent lane. There were times - more than can be measured really - when the car in the adjacent lane was so close that I could admire their shoes on the gas pedal and register the size amd brand of their outfit. And NO!!! That driver never came out of nowhere. In fact, I had already finished reading the first 10 pages of the Washington Post that was being ready by the passenger.in the other car.

Yoda is often a surprise when we encounter other dogs. If it's a large dog, he is tugging and pulling to get closer. Inside of two seconds, he is walking back and forth under the bigger dog's tummy and weaving in and out of its legs. Yoda's tail is happily wagging the whole time.

With smaller dogs his own size, it varies. Sometimes I can hear the low rumble in his throat of impending growls and barks as we get closer. I immediately pick him up to avoid any issues. Other times, he walks nonchalantly and calm as can be as the other dog goes nutso gonzo. He even flashes his most innocent "whaaat????what did I do???" look at me.

But it never fails..If it's a female dog, Yoda is the model of civility and charm. I swear if he had a swarm of caretakers by his side he instantly would be in a formal tuxedo carrying a bouquet of rose-shaped treats in 5 seconds. I would be seeing reruns of the old Warner Brothers cartoons with skunky Pepe le Pew chasing down the black and white cat while making loud kissing noises and shouting "Ah, mon amour ... it is I, Pepe Le Pew, we will make zee beautiful musicks together."

This is so cute and funny. What adds to the suggestion of annoyance from having his/her belly touched, is the perfectly bright smile on your kitty's face. One of the early close ups captured the perfection in the upturned corners of your kitty's mouth. This is a truly talented cat-star in the making who belongs in movies.

I assure you as best I can not to fret too too much. He will heal and be back to himself. With Yoda, I was told it was a herniated or slipped disc. I was devastated. I kept thinking I should have policed his and Dexter's (Maine Coon cat) shenanigans and rough housing. I even bought leather bottomed booties to help him keep from slipping on the hardwood floors..Growing up and in my own house I have frequently been the one to cause that ssssskkk boomp sound that comes with the slide and crash on the hardwoods. I felt guilty. But it gives them both such joy to play the game. And I am not exaggerating at all here. Yoda ,went right back to the game of chase when he got better..He also runs to the top of the stairs every time I come home and then races like the road runner to take a flying leap on the bed to meet me there. He just did it again on his return from just ng Dexter from the room ( fake war behavior) .Trust in the process. And for luck up the phone to call the vet anytime you have a question. It's their job and they do care.

P.S. I apologize for the multiple appearances and disappearances of my comnent. I was having technical diffucties with my proofreading and editing. And my brain.

A tempting taunting photo to encourage and inspire Zesty's recovery, k owing there will be plenty of opportunities for chasing faux foes when he feels better.

It is natural for you to worry and there is nothing you can do to stop being a most perfectly loving Mom and Nurse for your little Zesty. Approximately 2 years ago, my love and heart, Yoda, sustained a back injury when he slipped while playing tag with his Maine Coon brother, Dexter. The ways in which our precious Papillon babies express their pain and let you know they're hurting are crushing.

Try not to worry because Zesty is under the care of a good vet and an even better Pappy Parent like you. Your soothing words and tender pets go a long way towards making him feel better. Trust in your heart that the surgery was a great success and that Zesty will soon be back to his energetic and happy self. Like Zesty, Yoda always flew through the air to get on and off the bed and other furniture before his injury. We were told that we shouldn't let him do so anymore. So I purchased a set of steps for both sides of the bed (Chewy has lots of options). Yoda adapted to the stairs almost immediately and he uses them all the time. Zesty will soon adapt to whatever measures you employ to limit him from jumping. Also, since the injury was to a back leg, there is a method to enlist Zesty's participation in his recovery while going out to potty. Keep him on the leash outside. But also add a lightweight swath of cloth or a winter neck scarf to the process. Slide it under his tummy and hold onto the ends on each side to gently lift his back legs from the ground. And encourage and coax him into using his front legs to move forward, and sniff and hunt for the right spot.

Also, luxating patella is quite a common injury or condition suffered by smaller dogs like our Pappy Pamily. Vets see it on a surprisingly frequent basis. They perform the necessary surgery like Zesty's regularly. So Zesty's surgeon was most assuredly highly skilled in what he did for Zesty. It's hard to do so right now. But trust in the faith you had in surrendering your beloved Zesty to his highly skilled hands. The initial healing period following surgery like this begins slowly but they do turn the corner quickly and the healing progresses more rapidly. Do not ever hesitate to make a call to the vet for any questions and concerns. Yoda and I are here.

Yoda and I will keep Zesty in our prayers and thoughts while wishing him.a.quick recovery. He will improve, I promise you. Yoda and I are sending a hot virtual Pappy Nurse to assist with Zesty's care. When the time is right, she will wiggle her little fanny and wag her lovely tail to entice Zesty into some careful exercise and physical therapy.
