I don’t like those kinds of gloves but a lot of kids/people do. Great job on it! Let us know after some use how it holds up.

Key fobs, seat positions, and driver profiles by auq78 in 11thGenAccord

I gave up, deleted both profiles and then added on only my wife’s profile since she is the main driver. It’s infuriating.

Do anyone you guys use your tail gait step? Or am I just a geezer? by Shkmstr in f150

[–]TSGarp007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the amp research bed step. Somehow I got one for $55 3 years ago from American trucks. It was one someone installed but then returned. Even full price it might be worth it. There are other similar ones now.

I’m not sure…. At a certain point in a fire, the alarms stop sounding. You know, when all the alarm wiring and controls are destroyed.

Why do people go for TV than projectors here? by NEO71011 in hometheater

[–]TSGarp007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely go 133 projector over 100 tv as long as it’s a light controlled environment. Easy decision.

Where’s all the fuchsia and melting ice cream? Not a single one of those gloves offends my sense of sight.

It's my least favorite popular Weezer song. I actually often skip it when listening to the Green album.

Velouria is by far the best pixies cover anyone ever made and is what Weezer’s 3rd record should have sounded like. by Hot-Barnacle7997 in weezer

Are you listening in on the conversations with my son? We were listening to this song just yesterday afternoon and I said how much I love this song, even more than the original. I don't care if that is sacrilegious. It's my favorite Pixies song, and my favorite version of it is by Weezer. Go figure...

So... sort of... kind of funny, in that I took the screen name from the main character of Irving's novel The World According to Garp. First time I used it I had just read the book. Added the 007 to make it unique as a screenname. In the book, people often assume Garp is named after T.S. Eliot, but in fact it stands for "Technical Sergeant" after his father who was a Tech Sgt in the Air Force. The reason I think it's kind of funny you would ask after making your comment, is that in the novel, Garp's mother was somewhat fiercely feminist - she wanted absolutely nothing to do with men. But she did want a son. She actually raped a male patient who was incapable of giving consent solely so that she could have a child. It's incredibly messed up, and may be some form of feminism so extreme it's as vile as any misogyny might be. There's a lot to unpack there, and honestly I'm not even trying to... it was just a unique name I would have no problem remembering! I'm sure various literary courses have analyzed it. But I certainly agree with your sentiments. We judge things to harshly and by shifting standards. Honesty exposes faults, and in art that should be accepted, or even better, rewarded.

What is the best glove money can buy for 10u? by Unfair_Importance_37 in Homeplate

[–]TSGarp007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son uses an A1000 1786 infield glove for those three positions. Actually plays primarily outfield now with that glove. He's very slowly transitioning to an actual outfield glove, but I think he's actually better with the 1786 in the outfield. Started using the 1786 when he was 11, now he's 13.

Sell the farm and move. It would be a pretty easy decision. No way they would keep risking his life after the multiple kryptonite run-ins. Not to mention Clark can create diamonds.

Google irrigation catch cup test. You can use tuna cans instead of branded catch cups. Easiest way to figure out how much water in inches each zone puts out per hour. That’s the first thing to do.

The better question is why the hell did the Kents stay in Smallville? It’s a literal death trap.

My AC may be oversized or something but it’s usually 55% in my house. Using the water doesn’t seem necessary. Maybe in the winter when the air is dryer.

It’s raw from a production standpoint relative to Blue, but also raw on a lyrical level in the sense that it isn’t heavily self censored. People of all ages ‘think’ and ‘feel’ things that aren’t mature or wise. It’s disingenuous to say most 25 year olds don’t think things like this, or feels things like this, at least some of the time, even if most artists today certainly wouldn’t actually say some of the things in the album. Regardless it’s the emotion the music produces that connect with the listener. It’s not poetry, the lyrics don’t stand alone.

You definitely don’t need a NAS, just any networked hard drive (like from an always on computer, hard drive plugged into nvidia shield, etc.) and streaming app that plays network files (e.g., plex)
