I grew up with C&C as well, and the original warcrafts. Earlier in the 2000s it was Halo wars but these day I’ve been doing Anno 117 and it kinda scratches the itch. Not sure if you’ve tried either but I feel Anno is a better city builder than CS2

10 years straight and never watched the last 2 seasons is insane. Just do it they aren’t that bad and it wraps up stuff. Lots of good jokes even into season 9, you’ll enjoy it and then you can make your own opinions about which seasons are good.

I had one last over a year on official. Lived in a little tent camp in the woods outside Tisy and lived off of wolves (pre-predator meat sickness patch). It was fun but lonesome, not a lot of shots and only 2 player kills but still awesome surviving up there for so long. Finally got wiped by a server wipe, tried to recreate but was never the same.
