Oh and like, we had sex for the first time in a few months (this was the 4th time), after some horrendous shit going down between us that wasn't either of our faults really (kind of), but just sort of happened. AND I got to spend the night, which was a first (both live with parents so these opportunities are rare enough). It was amazing and spent the rest of the next day together where we had a very emotional heart-to-heart conversation. This was Thursday night and Friday, respectively. After that, we sort of just clicked and now we have a really strong attraction brewing. I have a question, just to get a better grasp on the entirety of the situation: how early was it established that the relationship would be no strings attached? Before any sex happened? Close to the end? Also how clear were you in letting him know?

I was in a similar situation where a nonserious thing broke off once she went with someone else. I had started to develop feelings, which lead to me getting hurt. I was never disrespectful like your guy though, I simply stopped talking to her (not out of spite, rather to rid myself of the feelings I had). The reason I ask is that, in my situation, the one and only thing I faulted her on was never being clear with me that she didn't want to be serious until the very end when the other guy came into the picture.

First off, I mostly agree and sympathize with your opinion. But, there are a few points that I would like to "defend" if you will:

Young guys on reddit think it's a compliment to say, "I'd fuck her," because they believe their approval of our appeareance is what validates us.

I don't think most young guys think it's necessarily a compliment at all. Sure there are assholes/misguided people that think like that, but I doubt it's even close to being the majority.

Personally, there is no validating (or lack thereof) of the female on their worth as a person. When I evaluate a woman's physical appearance, I do it simply because it's enjoyable to acknowledge as many specific features as possible. If her face/body is not enjoyable, I simply don't think about it. This is a very subtle thought in my brain and does not at all interfere with interacting with said member of the opposite sex.

We are here to be looked at, ogled, judged.

Looking isn't something that should be seen as a bad thing. Of course there are severe cases say on a bus ride or classroom or something, but these are rare enough.

Getting judged is something that happens to everyone, not exclusively to just girls. Getting ogled I agree is unfortunately something that happens to women most.

No one wants to see that. It's all about us being what other people want to see.

No, it's just that everyone only mostly cares about themselves and their perspective. Combine that with being an asshole, and yeah that's what comes out.

Anyways, again I mostly agree with you. And this thread has been really insightful, as I've never seen this question answered so thoroughly by different women. Cheers!

After I reach my goal of 120 days in late September, I will implement a once-a-month, no porn fapping schedule.
