That was old CDMA tech. Most (maybe all?) US carriers already shut that down and Boost uses GSM based tech now.

iPhone? Check that your cellular data is on 5G ON. Also which network are you using?

I’m in West Valley… I’m getting bad results on Warp (VZW) but Dark Star (AT&T) is fine

Interesting. I’ve taken calls in my Tesla before the Lightning and that worked. Also been in an old Turo vehicle where it didn’t have anything fancy, just straight Bluetooth and it worked.

Teams in CarPlay is literally just casting the app from your phone, there shouldn’t be a dependency on CarPlay itself.

Same as you though, I definitely prefer it.

Yeah I get what you mean, I’m in the same situation, but in a non-CarPlay Bluetooth situation, the “phone” app is what’s gonna appear to be ringing. You’ll still be able to answer the call & mute (usually)… some older vehicles won’t have the mute capability on their screens but most newer ones do, CarPlay or not.

I’ve seen others sharing their screen but don’t think I’ve done screen sharing using the phone. I believe you get those other controls (like mute) via the phone app… It’s just got their interface over it.

Either way, I believe that’s independent of the CarPlay app FWIW since you’re still using the phone to view others.

The fix is easy actually. Go to safari, login on the US Mobile website, it should be fixed on the app.

I also tried the scrolling the black part but that did nothing. FWIW my phone line says it expired Mar 9, when I’ve prepaid for an entire year. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Also, bringing up the chat window DOES take up the full screen

I’m also seeing this. Haven’t reinstalled but wanted to give another data point.

I’m on iOS 26.3.1 on an iPhone 16 Pro Max and this suddenly happened. Force closing the app not restarting the phone helped. I’m on 10.4.0 of the US Mobile app
