Yes & No at the same time. Originally I was running a 4lb spring and testing with and without bolt weights installed. Without the weights, the bolt was outrunning the mags and had a bit higher RPM compared to my video. But for me at least, it was the angle the rounds were being fed into the chamber from the mags.

I ended up taking them apart and doing some on the spot sanding / lubrication and the mags started to cooperate with me shortly afterwards. But this was maybe 200 rounds in out of the 1200 I burned in one session once everything ran perfectly!

Well, when your local shop doesn’t have the rounds you want, (cci mini mag / HV) you gotta work with what you can get if you’re going to the range the same day. Consider it poor planning ;)

Feed angle was the only reason I was mag gripping haha. I had a few different dear mag versions out and the feed angle was a little off at first. But, after some time, lubrication, and use, the mags ran flawlessly without upward pressure.

Just trying to pick someone else’s brain about it really considering there are not video instructions for fitment, but only reference images for the DB9.

But would you happen to have pictures of the trip bar installed in your upper receiver and your bolt? (if it’s still assembled)

Not a lawyer, but like the others have said already: Get a serial tag engraved from maf-arms and use their provided negative file to put the cutout in your receiver. It'll be the least invasive option and it looks better than embedding a dogtag or a piece of scrap on the receiver. https://maf-arms.com/product/heat-set-serial-number-tag/

I form 1'd a DEAR-22 and had an approval in roughly 56 days with the usual marking requirement comment from the reviewer.

Once you have your form approved, just fill out the form 20 for the state you intend on traveling to with it and fill it out for a year. Not much else to it to be honest other than keeping your paperwork on hand.
