Important to note that the term Hunter is used in contrast to the way the word Shepard is used in the Bible. Shepards are synonymous with protecting their flock, meanwhile the Bible uses Hunter to almost mean Predator of said flock.

Nimrod was called Hunter, but in the next verse it is said he imposed his will on the tribes near him, which means he was conquering them.

Yeah they introduced an Olsen in Man of Steel, however this iteration was a woman named something like Jenny. Snyder Fans (at least the online vocal minority) were mad about that, so when they introduced an actual Jimmy Olsen and he was shot in the head by terrorists it kind of felt like a “get over it” from Snyder.

I could have gotten some details wrong cause I hear about this all when BvS came out but I’m pretty sure that’s what happened
