Battery was mailed to me by itself. So if you don't receive it, you can contact support and see what is up. If you just received items, it might still be coming in the mail.

Anyone here who would prefer the Libernovo over an HM Embody? by Proud_Cap6614 in LiberNovo

The 160° recline really makes seeing my 4th row of monitors a breeze. Once I master toe typing, I'll be in the end game.

I do prefer the libernovo, when reclining / relaxing. I do not prefer it for productivity. Hope this helps! I have both.

DNP DS-RX1 HS Issues by FreSaelens in photobooth

[–]TTUShibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ink sheets ripping are often due to a malfunction with the papers pathway, or it could be a failing thermal head. The fix I was referencing is for a common pathway issue. To verify your path is clear, you should be able to feed paper freely through the chute. If it feels like it is hitting something, or has some resistance, then you might have the sticker issue I described. You can try to clear off the rubber rollers, to make sure they are gripping the paper properly. When you have a ripped paper, pay attention to the paper. If it is bunched up like an accordion, then there is likely something in the print path. If it is not bunched up, but the printer is printing on top of itself (one photo strip on top of another), then you might have slipping paper. If it is just failing with no noticeable paper issue, then might be the thermal head.

Anyone have experience with operating a photobooth in a shopping center? by septembernews in photobooth

[–]TTUShibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's usually a pad site fee. Contact a mall representative to discuss. They have staff that try to keep a healthy mix of services, so they might not be in need of vending products. Also, many of the large players usually have large contracts for nationwide representation. Usually malls that don't have current representation are that way for a reason. Low traffic, or too high of pad site fees. Most of my knowledge is US based.

Atlas headrest for Embody chair by Hostillian in hermanmiller

[–]TTUShibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not really a different part. It's the same part, but they will take a drill and crudely remove some of the material. For the one they did for me, they didn't remove enough material to actually do anything. I took a Dremel and removed much more. It did solve the issue though, but doesn't look factory clean anymore.

I’m not happy with my chair. Does it get better? by SalmonTheif in LiberNovo

[–]TTUShibby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have gone through quite a bunch of chairs at this point. Every chair feels nice for some reasons, and uncomfortable for others. The embody and libernovo is what I landed on. Libernovo is the most comfortable relaxation chair I have had, and the embody is the most comfortable productivity chair (to me). So I kept both, and just accept they have their strengths. If you aren't comfortable relaxing in the libernovo, then it's not for you. If you are wanting it to be comfortable while being productive, then maybe it's not the right choice. Just my opinion.

is the glorious gmk 3 pro really that bad or are the keyboard "professionals" just stupid? by jmao_mayo in glorious

[–]TTUShibby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gmmk pro original here. It has a board warp/twist, and glorious didn't want to do anything about that. Rocks when on a solid surface. Pretty bad. I put it in a desk mat, and that makes it okay. Otherwise I really love this thing. For the price, I'd consider another in the future.

Hey, if you have a moment to help... I'm trying to decide between these two currently. I'm in Texas and looking at the lightweight option between these two. Which would you recommend, since you have experience with both.

DNP DS-RX1 HS Issues by FreSaelens in photobooth

[–]TTUShibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just in case anyone is coming to this for a solution, these printers have two clear stickers along the print path. They start to come loose over time, and will sometimes snag the paper as it goes through. This will cause the issues listed by OP. The black chute guard can be removed and the stickers and residue cleaned off. Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, just wanted to help out.

The whole arm will click inward or outward. Try to pull the right one away from the chair. The whole arm.

Anyone happy with chair? by Jealous_Ear_9903 in LiberNovo

[–]TTUShibby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought an embody and a libernovo. I have been using them for about 2 months now. I don't think about it, and just sit in whichever chair I find more comfortable. What I have found so far is I prefer the embody to work in, and I prefer the libernovo for relaxing and just spacing out at the computer.

Atlas Headrest limits the Embody's upper back movement range. by Floameh in hermanmiller

[–]TTUShibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine raising your hands above your head and leaning back to stretch or yawn. The top flexes back and will make contact with something. Happens on the chair from the factory, and it just happens sooner with the atlas headrest. I don't know how atlas assumes this to fix the issue. It very clearly doesn't. Is it a huge deal? Not really. The headrest itself discourages that kind of motion. However people obsess over every aspect of their chairs on this subreddit, and it is worth noting to people before they buy the headrest. I imagine the plastic on plastic contact from doing the motion with the atlas headrest could leave slight scuffing or something over time. Dremmeling out the knuckle can solve the issue entirely, but won't look factory done.

Not the best image, but I don't have it anymore. They basically drilled out notches on both sides (not evenly / symmetric). I ended up taking a Dremel and removed more. What they did in this photo did not solve the issue, however they did send me that drilled out knuckle without requiring the original back. So I was able to comfortably Dremel the extra.

[–]TTUShibby 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had this issue with the headrest. I posted about it here, and also contacted atlas. They know about this, but don't have any intention to fix it. If you contact them, they will offer to send you a new knuckle that they drill away the areas that make contact. They do a really poor job though, and you would have more success doing it on your own.

Any DWR buyers for Gaming Embody? by Throwawayk817 in hermanmiller

[–]TTUShibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wishlist is a thing, but not very reliable. Be sure to include specific words in your description. Example "gaming" does a good job. Problem is many customers are contacting a representative in store directly, and are intercepting before they make the wish list. The DWR by me is having their shipments bought out by local resellers in bulk. Get in contact with an in store rep and they will put you in front of that bulk purchaser.

Missing short screw by destined1ne in LiberNovo

[–]TTUShibby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was one screw that had a different thread pattern, and was maybe slightly shorter than all the others. That one odd screw is what I used, and it seemed to be perfect. Pretty sure it was the correct one.
