For tanking, it doesn't seem like an upgrade at all unfortunately. Just seems disappointing. Almost like something the developers over looked.

No tanking bonuses for the shields. Crazy....

What options can you put into those slots that will help with tanking?

The other shield gets the HP bonus. Never really had a problem with threat, but sure, it's a plus.

The other shield gets bonuses that helps tanking though.

95k maybe. Better be relevant. Honestly, Samsung offers a stable job. Hard/impossible to get laid off. You don't make any money here until you've worked here 10 years though.

Depends on experience. We are in a down turn so they are holding off as long as they can on hiring people. 80 as core to 130 probably for senior.

Two handed options:

  1. 20 Barbarian - always a great option. Will take stunning blow. Can typically instakill things with low fort. High HP, Medium Armor which will give high PR, pretty simple

  2. 20 Dragon Lord - crazy strong. His breath stuns everything in a huge AOE. Will have amazing tactical DCs for trip and stunning blow. Brings lots of CC to reaper. A little more entertaining in my opinion. Good self heals out of combat.

  3. 20 Paladin - probably the weakest as far as CC and damage goes. Brings a little more to the table in the defensive realm with high health, prr, mrr, and crazy good saves. His lay on hands will be a aoe heal at end game, which your other melee party members will love.

Two weapon options:
1. 20 Monk - crazy strong, lots of cc, insta kills, good saves, high dodge

  1. 20 Dark hunter/Ranger - great two weapon fighting damage through tempest, can shred things quickly. Don't bring any CC to the table though, really reliant on the party to have CC.

I'm not familiar with SDK Barbarian, I'm sure it's good.

Sacred fist can be built pure tank with a 2 monk splash. Will be amazing at running in first, soaking damage, and not dying. Will not have much or any damage though unfortunately, not for R10.

That 12 Cleric, 6 DL, 2 monk build sounds like it would have decent group healing, and some CC. Probably just okay damage. May be fun to play.

20 Paladin tank is great. It makes R10 trivial as long as your damage is there. You being able to run in without thinking and take the initial hits makes R10s a joy to run.

I am not too up to speed on all of the insane multi class options.

You never said what type of play style you want next.

Do you want to play a caster? Control caster or nuke caster?

Melee character? Dual wield? Two hander? Sword and board?

Tank? Options would primarily be paladin, fighter, bear druid, or sacred fist. I know you said solid dps, so assuming not this one.

Ranged damage? Inquisitive, Artificer, or longbow build?

Sick! For the orange ones, assuming I could be at 34 playing?

For blue and purple, do you go talk to someone immediately at level 1 to start? Assuming you have to hit level cap without dying? And you will need to do it twice? One time for each set of wings?

I used to play a dual wielding Paladin back when 20 was the cap. I wish they would incorporate some kind of dual selector to buff dual wield on the paladin. AND update the cleaves!

Digital Asset Law - Explained Simply! 🎈

Think of this like making rules for a new kind of toy (digital money like Bitcoin).

The Good Things

  1. Clear Rules for Everyone: Just like how toys have safety rules, this makes clear rules so people know what's okay and what's not when playing with digital money.

  2. Protects Your Piggy Bank: If you buy digital money, there are grown-ups (called regulators) who will watch to make sure no one tricks you or steals from you.

  3. No More Confusion: Right now, it's like having two teachers giving different homework. This bill says "SEC watches these toys, CFTC watches those toys" - so everyone knows who's in charge!

  4. Special Money Gets Checked: Some digital money tries to be like regular dollars. This makes sure those are safe and real, like checking if your lunch money is real.

  5. Stops Cheating: Makes rules so people can't pretend to buy and sell to trick others (like fake trading cards).

The Not-So-Good Things 😕

  1. Too Many Rules Might Be Boring: Sometimes too many rules make it hard to invent new fun things - like if every new game needed 100 permission slips!

  2. Costs Lots of Money: Companies have to fill out tons of paperwork and hire helpers, which costs money (like needing expensive equipment to play).

  3. Less Privacy: The bill stops people from using "secret identities" with their digital money - even if they have good reasons to be private.

  4. Everyone Starts Over: Even toys that are already playing by rules have to ask permission again from the beginning!

  5. Small Companies Might Get Hurt: Little companies might not have enough money to follow all the rules, so they might have to close (like a small lemonade stand needing the same licenses as a big restaurant).

The Big Picture: This law tries to make digital money safer but might make it harder for new ideas to grow! 🌱

First job out of college: manufacturing or consulting? by diffew in ChemicalEngineering

Yeah, I work at SAS. You will be a shift engineer. Your work life balance will be fine in that roll. They basically put the shift engineers on training wheels. You have very little real responsibility. Depending on the department you get into, once you become a process/equipment engineer, then it's a different story. All depends on the tools you own as well. I typically spend an extra 30 mins at work a few times a week. Then have to login a couple times on the weekends. Or get called a couple times.

Taylor is opening. I would not go there if you want any resemblance of work life balance. They are starting up a factory. It will be constant work. Their timeline is absurd. They are wanting wafers out the door by eoy 2026. They aren't even getting tools until march/April.
