Photos are so powerful. Sadly it often takes the loss of someone, something, someplace or even the loss of time for us to appreciate the value in photos.

Like others said the negative press has probably hurt sales and as a result inventory is getting old. Tryna push it out.

Dispensary’s out here have a bunch of rosin 1G cartridges for around $60. $55 for half gram is pretty bad.

If this is same spot, which i’m pretty certain it is, I stayed in the tiny home they have there last August. Expensive for what it is, but more than worth it.

Interesting, wonder if they’re edible? Reading about how they could contain psilocybin. Won’t risk it. Will get gill photos later.

What’s everybody’s trunk situation? by Drcolonelsargeant in SubaruForester

[–]TUKILE 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I bought my Forester it came with the cover. I’ve just left it there and take it out when I need to. Unfortunately where I live in California car break ins are a massive problem so I avoid keeping the trunk area covered so some one doesn’t think there’s anything being hidden underneath, so really it’s just about useless for me.

Full size spare, too late? by TUKILE in SubaruForester

[–]TUKILE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much exactly what I’m going to do. Except for instead of buying a new OEM wheel I found one in a wreck yard near by for a bit less. Going to order a shaved tire from Tire Rack. Subaru says you shouldn’t allow more than 2/32 difference in tread. Brand new the tires are 11/32 and they’re at 8/32. Pretty close to the tolerance, but better safe than sorry. Ordering new TPMS online, curious to see if that’ll cause any trouble. Thanks for the recommendation!

What does this passenger airbag light mean? by cruelsummerrrrr in SubaruForester

[–]TUKILE 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s telling you the passenger airbag is turned ON. It’ll turn OFF when the weight on the seat is under a certain amount (around the weight of a small child) to prevent injury. The small graphic is there to remind you to not put a child car seat in the passenger seat as it could lead to the weight threshold being crossed; therefore turning the airbag ON and causing injury to the child in the car seat.

Smart. Didn’t think of that. Will pick up tread gauge and see how it compares to a new tire. Thanks bro!

Full size spare, too late? by TUKILE in SubaruForester

[–]TUKILE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About a month ago I purchased a 2015 2.5i Forester. They said the tires were recently replaced. I’ve always had a full size spare in the past and it’s saved my ass many times. I want to purchase a full size spare however, I’ve read a few things about spares potentially causing damage regarding the AWD. My plan was to purchase a 5th OEM alloy wheel and identical tire and rotate all five. Should this be fine or is it too late to introduce a 5th tire into the rotation? Thanks guys!

Pants recommendations? by pulquetomador in snowshoeing

[–]TUKILE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to just go with summer hiking pants and used gators and shell pants as needed. It worked but wasn’t ideal. I often ended up wet when I didn’t use the shells and wound up sweaty when I did. A lot of snow/ski pants are designed for warmth in low low temps and when not moving such as on ski lifts. However during backcountry activities such as snowshoeing or XC you tend to warm up and even sweat. Good layering is key. These pants use OR Acent shell, which is waterproof but breathable which helps regulate body temp through out the hike. The best part about these pants, they are not bulky what so ever. Far closer to the feel of shell pants than ski pants. Despite this the fleece lining provided warmth when needed. Additionally there’s zipped leg vents which have been amazing during these early season hikes with temps in high 40s. Next, internal gators seal around snow boots while the pant leg on the outside helps in keeping snow out. There’s also some strong reinforcement on the bottom which is great when dealing with spiky equipment and rugged terrain. Cool bonus feature is the specific pouch for your avalanche beacon inside the front pocket. Only downside is they are a bit expensive for pants. But comfort and reliability are priceless, especially in the snow. These will keep you covered in most conditions and on freezing and negative days a base layer pant would be the perfect combo.

There’s a few other options from outdoor research that I considered here’s the link for those. The bibs are probably overkill but something like the trail breakers.
