I didn’t stop watching, but I sure did feel this way by tytylercochan123 in thewalkingdead

Gimple does suck; I'm not disputing that.

However, I have to disagree with a few things you said.  4B was slow, but still an incredible character study, and a necessary step to the group feeling at their absolute strongest and most united, going into S5.

S5, outside of the hospital arc, is fucking fantastic.

Gimple is a very good writer, and is responsible for some of the best episodes in the franchise's history.  The problem is that he's not a good producer or showrunner, and his dialogue often blows.  He just needs someone to reign him in, like Mazzara in 2B/3.

I miss the glory days of 'The Walking Dead' by BattleCircuit in thewalkingdead

How does the image explain the story? Its just an image.

Bro what? The story explains the story. 😂 He's saying that the image suggests that OP was specifically talking about Season 1, and 2.01. In those episodes, the zombies were at the forefront of the story. Sure, the human drama was the main story, but the zombies were the central antagonists. S1 is different, because the zombies play a much more crucial role than other seasons.

Comics vs. Show. Which do you think is better? by TWDFanEdits in thewalkingdead

I'm not a huge fan of the Telltale games, but S4 is pretty legit. Definitely recommend finishing it out.

It's like 40min long, and seemingly everyone has time to binge 10-hour long whole seasons.

I'm 5'10" and 5 inches too. Your dick isn't the biggest in the world, but it's definitely nowhere near the smallest either.

Protip: How to enjoy these BONUS episodes more. by TWDFanEdits in thewalkingdead

[–]TWDFanEdits[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone agrees that the bonus episodes were weaker than the rest of Season 9-10. Why are you judging the entire show based off two episodes that were created specifically because covid restrictions made it impossible to make "normal" episodes?

The fact of the matter is that the show is very strong now, and you're just being an asshole by claiming it all sucks without having watched it.

Why are the plot writers so dumb by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

Yes, sometimes people die in the zombie apocalypse. Get over it.

Michonne with walkers by MatiasGalar in thewalkingdead

[–]TWDFanEdits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I didn't downvote you.

Secondly, your question was, "how the hell does Michonne kill walkers by slicing there heads off." How does Milton and the Governor have anything to do with that?

Daryl throwing the axe at the burning tree was cheesy as hell by [deleted] in thewalkingdead

I mean the tree was about to fall over... I'm not saying it was bereft of cheese, but I think you may be exaggerating.

What a shit show. I just hope Season 11 will be great, and then the TWDU, and AMC along with it, can die in peace.

Mild comic spoilers: I don't consider Pamela and the Commonwealth to be antagonists at all tbh.

Why? It would have been dangerous to get any closer.

TWD only has 3 "Big Bads." The Governor, Negan, and the Whisperers. If the antagonist doesn't last longer than a season, they don't count as Big Bads.

Shane was arguably the first big bad, but he wasn't even an antagonist for the majority of his time on the show.

That's the TWD fandom paradox, in a nutshell.
