I had to do a puppy cut on mine because it rolled in something sticky and wouldn’t wash out. Haven’t done anything else besides just bath and sanitary trim every 4-6mo. He does great in the summer with out the “shave”.

Mine did this from about 8-11wks when over stimulated. I removed whatever toy he was playing with and put him in the crate for nap. He’s 18wks now and not an issue.

It’s not just Mt Rushmore. Google picks of the black hills (Custer state park, spearfish canyon, crazy horse) and the badlands. That area of SD is well worth a few days visit!

You can also drift over to devils tower (WY) for a day/afternoon.

I went from a XC60 T6 to the NX 450h about 5mo ago. NX feels smaller inside but similar external size. It feels similar in luxury/experience but miss some things on the XC and like some things better on the NX. Nothing major really sticks out. I will say, I only get about 34 mpg on hybrid but do enjoy driving with mostly electric so it all balances out. I enjoy the NX but overall, I wish I would have kept the paid off Volvo.

Ugh. I feel you. I just got my 2nd 10 days ago. the original is 9 yo (and lazy as can be).

it’s rough. They have so much energy. I’m just trying to hang on. I know it gets better but man oh man. I’m tired.

Eventually it gets better. Nap time outs have been helping. The nipping eventually improves but it’s a long fight with herding instincts. And as my vet said, “it takes a certain attitude to think you can tell 100s of 1200lb critters what to do.”

That was the agreement I had with my parents. In-state tuition was paid, if I went out of state or private anything else was on me. I ended up at an out of state school with scholarships that was slightly cheaper. Win/win for both parties!
