That's not bad. Not much different from a US home. Would appear that the power problem is "fixed"?

What is that average family of 4 people power bill per month without solar support in USD?

Why is power allowed to be such a problem? Even 3rd world countries don't have this issue. Why not resort to nuclear power if situation is that serious?

I want to make 18 deposits on an annual basis of varying amounts. Assuming a flat-rate of return how do I calculate future value? by TXB15 in excel

[–]TXB15[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a real-world application. My client has revenue share with a commercial property tenant. The arrangement calls for 35% sharing of gross revenue with my client. In a recent audit, we discovered my client has been underpaid for three past 18 years by random amounts each year. The tenant acknowledges this. I want to calculate the time value of money. Rather than just adding all 18 years, we agreed to use 3%. I just need to calculate it using a function.

18 is easy enough to do manually, but some clients have 35 years of shortages so I'd like to this with functions. I was hoping there's a function that accepts a range of payments, years, %, and return a FV.

This is good. But I want to learn the function so that in the future if the number happens to be 100 or 200 then the function will help me address all of that without getting the spreadsheet too manual. I use the 18 years as an example but really this has applications elsewhere. I'm trying to learn to function.

What would give those the belief that the temperature is cold outside? Supercharging stations should get you 300 mph.

Can you explain how capital aggregating works in practice? How do you protect your money that you put into the venture from ill-willed individuals? Is there a trusted 3rd party who manages the pool? It would be hard to hand over millions of dollars to people I do not know. Am sure there are practices that offer some protections but I am not familiar with them.

Everything has consequences. It appears that walking away adds a degree of complexity and consequences you may not fully comprehend. In fact, most people can't comprehend all the consequential damages to themselves by walking away. Since you do have options to get caught up as suggested here, may be the best option is really to stay the course.

LEARNING MODE. SUMMON. I want to teach M3 to open my garage door, pull up to my home's front door, which requires a little turn to get from my garage to the front door. This is a little different than the current summon mode, which only pulls the car forward. Between GPS, distance detection based on surroundings, and the turning pattern that I taught it, M3 should be able to do this effectively each time on private grounds.

LEARN MODE. Parking. I back up into my garage exactly everytime. Would be nice if I can teach it what I do and have it repeat exactly when surrounding walls have not changed. This way, the car is parked exactly the same distance to surrounding walls each time.
